"We worked with JD from Green City Gardens to design and plant new landscaping in the front of our house. This included removing the existing shrubs, adding organic materials and planting the new flowers and bushes. In addition, JD, Doug, Carl and John removed two existing trees which had died and replaced them with new trees. The project was projected to be completed in about 2.5 days and the team achieved the target. The entire crew was excellent to work with--each provided their input and recommendations regarding plant placement. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process--from initial design through planting. JD's design was excellent and the new landscaping greatly enhanced the front of our house. Doug, John, JD and Carl worked diligently to remove the existing landscaping and planting and mulching the new plants. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Green City Gardens---they were reasonably priced and easy to work with when making significant enhancements to our landscaping."

They have also re-landscaped the area where our pool was, including pulling pulling out the old posts from the deck that was by the pool. It looks like there was never a pool there! Recently they replaced some pavers by the front porch and in front of our shed. They suggested a contrasting border outlining and it turned out great. I highly recommend Del Rio's."

"Almanza is the best in the area, I've learned the hard way. Had them as regulars for landscaping a few years back. They were great for the most part - Raul was excellent at doing extra jobs (paving, tree-cutting) fast and prompt at very reasonable prices. The yard looked great. However, when fall cleanup came, the crew left a lot of debris behind. During the summer, they also trimmed stuff I asked them not to trim and didn't trim what I wanted them to. I chalked it up to the crew though. Raul has always been great and I complained to him about it, noting I couldn't renew the contract with the same weekly crew. Not hearing from him about a different crew, I too hastily terminated the contract. BIG mistake. Subsequent lawn care and landscape specialists have been totally abysmal compared. I've learned that the weekly crews of any company are not as honest, hardworking, scrupulous, etc. as the owners but you have to put up with that stuff. It's just part of the game apparently. Looking back, aul's crew wasn't perfect, but they were a lot better than any others I've had. If you have him as a landscaper, keep him. A good dude. I've regretted my action more every year."

Moreover, none of the other landscapers offered a watering system or a lighting system as part of their base package, which further separated D&D Landscaping from other landscapers. I highly recommend D&D Landscaping for the incredible job they do, but they are also seemingly one of the few landscaping companies that are fully insured with both Liability Insurance and Workmanâ s Compensation Insurance, which was also highly important to me."
