They then re-installed new caulking all along the seams, both bottom and top of back splash. We had to wait 24 hours for the caulking to dry before using the sink, so the caulking could dry. Otherwise, the countertops look like new now, and we no longer have issues with ants making it through the backsplash.

"These guys were quick to come to the house and walked me through the rats nest that was my AC control system. They diagnosed my need to for a new compressor and demonstrated the problem with the wrrrrr-chunk noise a locked -up compressor makes. They didn’t upsell me for a whole new system like Magnolia did, or overcharge by 30% more like another company did. They replaced the compressor including unraveling other HVAC techs bizarre wiring in under 4 hours and gave me pointers on what to look for to avoid problems in the future. Straightforward and honest, I couldn’t expect more from an HVAC tech."

The project manager came out to look at the space and take measurements. They were very patient as I went shopping for doors and I had to come back to them multiple times with questions and then we had to wait for the door to be delivered. The door and extra materials cost an additional $2500.  The contractors were very pleasant and professional. They attempted as best as they could to keep the cold air out of the house while they had opening exposed to the December air. Because the new door was less wide than the original double door they had to fill in the space and they did a very good job both inside and outside and it looks very good. You would not know it was replacement door except that the new door looks so much better than the original one. They spent a lot of time on the threshold because it was not in good shape. They raised the height because the outside concrete slab had settled so that it would be at the right height when the slab is replaced. There was some of the 40hr left when the door was finished but not enough for the extra work we had planned, but the lead contractor was very flexible about doing some completely unplanned small jobs I could find around the house.
