Timely and professional

Luis is very professional. Initially, I requested his assistance in mounting my TV. However, he was so professional that I had him do a host of other projects the same day. I appreciate his work ethic and his companies professionally. The best contractor I've experienced in my 11 years of home owning. He is always punctual, has reasonable prices for the work and completes the job with finesse.

Overall the work completed was done well and fairly quickly. Luis' team is very friendly, helpful and I felt confident they knew how to complete the job. I was a bit disappointed in that what I assumed would be included in the work wasn't. Although I was given a sheet of what was to be done, some things I assumed were standard weren't included. For example, the sheet said they would prime and paint which I assumed to be 2 coats of paint, but I had to pay extra for this as they only included one coat.

got the angie's list deal, he worked fast and I love how it turned out. He charged my exactly the amount for the costs, I saw the receipt after he cam back from Home depot. I will use them again.

I was really impressed with their professionalism and level of service. I'm a bit of a novice on home projects, and they were able to provide the kind of full service I needed to translate my ideas into reality. They worked efficiently and were very communicative at each stage. They even helped out with a very small, unrelated issue after I had already paid--I asked for help unscrewing a bolt in my toilet to replace a part, and they did that and also had the part I needed to replace, which they put in for free! Very impressed, and I would definitely hire again.

This wasn’t the first time I used Vazquez & Son. In 2014, they expanded my closet and built custom doors for it. Luis and his team are alway nice, attentive to detail, and leave the work area clean. So, when my bathroom ceiling was torn up to repair a leak I called him immediately to repair and get my bathroom back in order. In fact I had them repaint the whole thing and it looks great. I’m writing this review a year later because once again I have an emergency repair need (broken bay window) and once again Vazquez & Son are to the rescue! I had been traveling out of the country and a guest using my place broke the window. From the airport, on a Sunday morning, I texted Luis a picture of the window and he responded within 10 mins. It is great to have a reliable responsive handyman/construction service provider when you need one. Not all my projects are big money, but it’s my home (1 bedroom apartment) and having things done right matters to me. Vazquez & Sons treats my projects like professionals and never make me feel like small potatoes. I’m a loyal customer, and plan to be, as long as Vazquez & Son is in business.

they did a great job and were very efficient at getting the variety of tasks completed. The new light fixtures look great. very helpful in ensuring the Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detector was properly installed and configured.

They do great work. They hung some drywall for us and did some plumbing work to fix a leak behind a wall. They also hung a tv and did some painting for us. Solid work. I have no complaints.

That went well.  They came out and did a good job with the work they did; there was confusion with what they were willing to do when they first arrived but the quality of work was good.  They did a nice job.  At first they said they had to do one bathroom although the coupon says its three hours and we had to call the office and clarified that; they did the full three hours.  It was alright.

Vazquez & Sons arrived on time and performed the job to our satisfaction. They removed the old caulking on our granite kitchen countertop backsplash, which were leaking ants. They then re-installed new caulking all along the seams, both bottom and top of back splash. We had to wait 24 hours for the caulking to dry before using the sink, so the caulking could dry. Otherwise, the countertops look like new now, and we no longer have issues with ants making it through the backsplash.

The owner/service provider came to refresh the caulk.  What he did was simply scrape along the lines of the grout with a knife. It didn't make too much of a difference, and it ended up chipping several of the tiles.  The provider said he didn't chip the tiles, but I would have known if my tiles were chipped before hand, and they were not.  He ended up putting some sort of "white out" into the chips, but you can tell the tiles are chipped.  Would not use again.
