What a great experience! Nicholas responded immediately to my request, asked me a number of questions about the problem with my AC and had practically diagnosed the issue by the time he arrived at my house just a few hours later. He investigated thoroughly and, sure enough, his pre-diagnosis was correct ... and he had brought along the necessary parts in anticipation. My house is now lovely and cool and I have a new AC technician! I believe Nicholas also works with boilers/radiators, too, so I expect to have him maintain both my AC and heating systems going forward. Bonus: he's good-humored and a genuinely nice guy!

Nick was pleasant and professional from the very start? beginning with our initial phone call. When he arrived, he removed his shoes to protect my floors. He immediately diagnosed the problem with my boiler and got to work resolving it. He was in and out in no time, and did not try to sell me any unnecessary parts and services. What I feared would be a time-consuming and expensive fix, was neither. I appreciate that he did not try to take advantage of me because I am a woman. I will be calling Nick for all my heating needs, and recommending him to all my friends.

I had an emergency when my 20 year old boiler malfunctioned and began emitting noxious fumes. Last Minute diagnosed the problem and then came up with a solution. The work was completed on Christmas Eve. Talk about dedication and commitment to service! I was provided tips as well on maintaining the warmth during the winter months. We are happy and warm now. He was great, very responsive, and took care of 2 problems with my air conditioning.

First and foremost Mr. Cohen (the owner) has great, positive energy. I contacted Mr. Cohen on Presidents Day 2024 and he came over promptly after he finished a job a few miles away.Mr. Cohen let me know i needed my ignition switch replaced. He sent me pictures and prices of the replacement part. I ordered the part the same day (overnight) and Mr. Cohen came over the next day to do the install. Everything was good and my home was warm again. I only noticed some hours later that the water was not heating. I texted Mr. Cohen later that night and he come over promptly the next morning to adjust the temperature on the furnace. I have no complaints at all. I know i didn't get anything "Major" don't but his professionalism, kindness, explanations and attention to detail won me over. I will be calling him in the future for any maintenance or hvac related issues in the future. Additionally I will be contacting Mr. Cohen to install a mini-split in my basement near the summer. So if your reading this be assure that Mr. Cohen will do a good, honest job with more that fair prices. Mr. Cohen is independent with one or two helpers.

Fast. Friendly. Fair price. Fantastic. The Job: Emergency hot water heater install, same day, Columbia Heights, D.C. Nicholas and Avery were perfection. Picked up on first ring at 11:30am, job completed (new heater pickup, install and old one hauled away) within 5 hours! Fast diagnosis of the issue and presented a couple of solutions. Guided me in purchasing the new water heater via Home Depot website - meaning no upcharge on parts and no delays in sourcing from the warehouse/suppliers (big time cool). They picked up the new one from Home Depot, returned and work began immediately. Very mindful of cleaning up any mess generated by the work and very careful not to damage walls or doors (we have a narrow hallway to work with). Pricing was extremely fair and transparent. Nicholas and Avery as also lovely people! We even managed to share a laugh over what could have been a disaster plumbing situation. Do I feel lucky to have found Last Minute Services? 100% Would I would with them again and highly recommend to others? 2,000% Thank you, Nicholas and Avery!

We were having several issues with our radiators. He was GREAT to work with!!! Prompt, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Nicholas fixed everything in less than half an hour, wow!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

My Last Minute Service pro provided excellent customer service. I explained to Nicholas Cohen my problem with my outside compressor and he provided the needed information and insight to resolve my problem. I was so thankful that this professional did not try to rip me off by charging a service fee and coming out to my home when after forwarding to him videos and pictures, he gave value insight to me to resolve my problem over the phone!!! He knows the HVAC business and appears to be is a subject matter expert in his field.

Nicholas was a consummate professional who drove well over an hour twice to make the repair to our heating unit. It was a rainy and cold night which I thought we would just have to endure. Instead once the issue was identified (broken gas thing - potentially dangerous situation), he drove back to his shop to get a new part and then back to replace it on our HVAC. 10 out of 10!
