"We evaluated 12 contractors for our project and selected Brother and Brother. They were not the least expensive (in the top 4) of total cost, but their gallery photos, ratings, and reputation was unexcelled, in our evaluation. Brother and Brother did a marvelous job updating our home. We initially had a limited scope of work to update a couple of rooms. After seeing their portfolio and discussing ideas, we decided to update our entire home. We really couldnâ t be happier. Our project manager, Daniel, was super responsive. As we went through our project, he kept in contact and was always available quickly to discuss ideas and needed changes. The construction team had incredible, high-quality execution â super quality work throughout with excellent attention to detail. The team achieved our timeline exactly for completion â even though they had to work extra hard because of additional items we wanted to add to the project. And everything was done right. "It was a challenging time to undertake this project between COVID, engineering errors (not the builder), labor shortages, and the price of lumber. I would not say it was easy, but the end result is a very well built, comfortable, attractive, and energy efficient living space. I learned a lot from this project and provided feedback to the contractor about what I didn't know about the process when we began and what others would benefit from. One key item is a clear list of what the "finishing" materials are and a schedule indicating when these materials are needed. I recommend that anyone working on a building project of this intensity insist upon a detailed list as part of the contract and in advance of the work beginning. Since our work was done, this contractor has hired two additional people to focus on those types of needs. The people performing the labor were always polite, friendly and respectful of masking and social distancing. We felt comfortable with them around our home. One thing that could have been better is more orderly disposal of materials and separation of recyclable and non-recyclable items."

"Lindgren Construction is busy, probably because of the overall high ratings. We contacted Eric for an estimate and recommendations about what to do about two sets of leaky French doors. One door had split along the bottom. He went over options and recommended clad doors emphasizing it was more expensive but he felt they'd hold up to the exposure our doors get. His estimate might not be the lowest, but it was fair especially considering the quality of the work and his standards, The work began a few weeks after our first contact. Eric's communication during the work is excellent. He called at the end of each day, texted information about times and next steps. He called to make sure the sub contractors had done work to our satisfaction and that the "work site" was left clean. My wife was impressed by the fact that we would not have known workers had been in our home if not for the the work they had completed. The project required removal of some stucco. Eric consulted with us regarding choices regarding patching the stucco. We decided to go with foam and painting the stucco the trim color, because matching 13 + year old stucco and new paint would be a challenge. The end result looks great. I appreciated Eric's communication, responsiveness to any concerns. He demonstrated a commitment to making sure we were not just satisfied but completely happy. We are not quite done at this writing, but I kept getting e-mails from Angie's List to enter a review. We have been very pleased and Eric has been responsive, committed to getting the job done right and trustworthy, that we felt we could write our review with confidence. Excellent work.
