The service was wonderful. They were very prompt. I was happy with the fence so far.

After contacting numerous contractors, we came across Legacy Construction from our electrician (Grid Electric) who replaced our main panel and we are extremely happy we went with them for a complete remodel of our home!
Nate and team are top-notch and extremely quality and detail oriented. They worked hard to ensure both our expectations and schedules were met. We had a hard deadline to meet and they made sure to keep the project on schedule even with changes and additions along the way. They went out of their way to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the final product.
Nate is always very responsive and spent a lot of time with us explaining every detail of the work to be completed. He was also extremely patient throughout the entire process and answered the many questions we had along the remodel. Other contractors would either be short with their answers or not even bother to respond. In addition to discussing the building aspects of the remodel, we also worked with Nate on various design decisions to consider every-day practical aspects.
If you're looking for a contractor you can trust, Legacy Construction is the team you want to hire. They want to work with you to establish long-term relationships. Nate has also checked back with us even after the completion of the job to ensure that we're still happy with the results. Pricing is flexible and they can provide options depending on your budget.

Legacy listed that they do crown molding on their website and within angies list site. When I called an asked about help for my crown molding, Nate responded that they don't do those type of "small jobs". Its ironic that he said that because I was also looking for a full bathroom remodel, but now he'll never get access to that 20K plus job because he turned down a 1K job :)

All went very well.
Work was scheduled and done very quickly.  No delays, no surprises, no added charges.
Owner of Legacy Construction did the estimate.  He clearly explained what had to be done, and he answered any questions I could raise.

Nate provided excellent service in this small quick job, including removing dry rot, patching up foundation, reframing old entrances and window openings, putting in new windows and doors, crafting a hand-made garage door, laying down siding. It's tough to find someone to do all of these different construction tasks in a timely economic manner.  Legacy was the right choice.

Didn't go well. If your preference is to work with someone who doesn't follow through with what he says, Nate and Legacy Construction is your team. Don't waste your time calling or emailing.

After a few weeks of waiting for the estimate, I attempted to contact them several times by phone and email with no response. Still have had no response from them and it has been over two months.

We had a smaller job with some various odds and ends,and Nate still took the time to make sure everything was done on the level.
He is an excellent communicator and made sure that we knew where we were in the timeline every step of the way.
I bought some grout for the new bathroom tile and one of his guys went of of his way to point out that the color might not look great with the tile (He was right!) and provided us with the right color.

Everything went well.  Nate and his crew were punctual, and communicated well.  They cleaned up after themselves.

We didn't end up using him. He ended up telling me that I didn't need to do any work. He said there was some damage, but it wasn't that bad. He seemed professional. He didn't actually quote me a price.

The carpenter said it would be an 8 hr job, which I did not agree with.

Nate, the owner of Legacy Construction, and his foreman did a fantastic job, and we would definitely hire them again.  We were in the process of having our wood siding replaced with stucco when we discovered that our garage gable and siding were damaged from termites and dry rot.  We could not continue with the stucco work until the damaged wood was replaced.  I found Legacy Construction on Angie's List.  Nate came to our house to determine how extensive the damage was and give us an estimate.  As he pulled away the rotted siding, it appeared like the header was damaged as well, which would have meant double the work and expense.  As he pulled away more damaged siding, we saw that it was an isolated piece of wood and not the header, and Nate had a relieved look on his face.  At that moment, I knew that Nate truly cares about his customers, and hired him to do the job. Nate knew we could not proceed with our stucco work until he replaced the damaged wood, and although he was in the middle of a new construction project with a tight schedule, he and his foreman came to our house that Saturday to do our job.  He and his foreman's attention to detail was superior, A+!

My wife and I contacted a few different carpenters from Angie's List to look into vaulting the ceilings in our upstairs bedrooms.  Quite honestly, Nate was one of the first people to respond.  We setup some time for him to look at the project work.  I was concerned with the old framing in our home that it was going to be a difficult job requiring structural engineering and hoops to jump through.  I was wrong -- Nate looked at the space and immediately had a plan allowing us to do the work.  
Nate and his crew (Ernie and Tim) showed up every day early in the morning and kept busy knocking our the work.  They are all great guys and have fun working in their trade.  In the end, the final results look fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.  Nate is a positive guy and very easy to work with.  I appreciate that they have helpful solutions to propose when an issue arises.  With some construction professionals it's the opposite experience and you run into brick walls.  I can also appreciate that they take total ownership of the work and do not need guidance or input delaying the work.  For example, Nate was always proficient in getting the materials needed for the next days work.  I did not have to worry about anything as he owned it all.
In the end, not only am I tremendously happy with the new space but I'm also pleased that their framing work bolstered the strength of the home's overall strength and support.
Since Nate and his team wrapped up their project work, I'm already asking them about other potential project work.

Last summer, in the middle of the night, our hot water heater broke and caused extensive water damage to the first floor of our home.  We received three quotes for the work to repair our home from all the water damage, and Nate's bid was the best one.  He handled all the work from demolition, installation of new drywall, installing new hardwood floors and tile, painting, having new cabinets made and installed, building new shelves for our walk-in pantry, even hanging a new towel bar in the bath.  If I had any questions, he was always available and would come over to my home to discuss if necessary.  He is professional, easy going, and a nice person to work with.  I would recommend him for any job.

We discussed a small carpentry job, and seemed to come to an agreement, and he never showed up again. I phoned and he said he was doing some drawings.

Legacy is the best contractor we have ever had the privilege to work with. Feel very lucky to have found them. They made sure that we understood all aspects of our addition including costs and timing before we ever commenced. So far they have hit every targeted deadline on schedule and have exceeded our expectations with a potentially very hectic large project. We have been kept informed at every step and they have been very non intrusive during this large addition project. They have worked through every weekend required to meet the demanding schedule and have solved all of the little problems encountered along the way. Highest rating possible on Legacy. If you do not want contractor problems use them for sure.

Everything went very smoothly.  I contacted Legacy Construction in March.  They came out the next day and gave me a quote.  When I was ready to get the work done I contacted Nate and he scheduled me for the following week.  Work was completed on time and with good quality.  I would not hesitate to recommend Legacy  Construction and will use them again for future projects.

The pantry closet sliding door is very heavy which need two people to get it out and install the new sliding bracket. It needs some smart way to figure out and He did it. It is so wonderful job.

I purchased the wood for the job.  Nate showed up with his tools, cut the existing wood off, cut the new wood to fit, repaired the area and caulked around the joints.  I primed and painted the area after he finished the work (which was part of our agreement).

He completed the work in about two hours and did a great job.

I use Angie's List - Big Deal offers as a way to "check out" a company's work and reputation.  If needed, I will call Nate back for more work without hesitation.

By coincidence, I received a Groupon email for 2 hours worth of labor for carpentry work at a discounted price.  My first thought was this would probably only apply to large carpentry projects.  My second thought was to see if Legacy Construction was listed in Angie?s List.  I had a nice surprise to find them listed and with excellent ratings.  So that very same evening, I decided to call them and see if they were willing to do small projects.  I spoke with Nate Missildine, the owner and found him quite cordial especially for me calling in the evening and for such a small project.  He immediately indicated he would come out to discuss the project and we scheduled a day and time.  On that day, Nate was very punctual and quite detailed on how he would go about building this box for my camera.  I was immediately impressed with his professionalism, great attitude where no project is too small, and really appreciated his explanation as to how he would design and install the box.  Nate did a superb job in all respects where he went beyond my expectations (from design concept, installation, to cleanup) and where I realized my small box concept involved a lot more than I thought.

Nate was a pleasure to work, I like his work ethics and style, and his pricing is very reasonable.   I plan on continuing to use him for larger projects in the future and will be recommending his company within our neighborhood.
