"We had 2 jobs done by Iwai. First, they did the central air for our 3 bedroom house in LA. Many of the other companies said we needed to put in additional vents but Iwai suggested putting the system in and adding the vents later if we were not satisfied with the air flow. This ended up saving us thousands. the second jod was a mini-split HVAC for our garage conversion. our general contractor gave us a ridiculous price so we called our friends at Iwai for a second opinion and they were great. The price was low and when the inspector gave us a hard time about silly details Brandon sent his team out multiple times to deal with it even though it was a relatively small job for them. Both times the work was high quality, the price was great and the professionalism was above reproach. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone."

"I did not use this company for service, but spoke with them to get a quote.
They seem very attentive and concerned about their customers, although, it did take me a few calls in to actually reach someone in the office. Ultimately their pricing seemed fine, however only after their "discount specials" did they become more competitive with other companies I called. Without the "specials" they would not have been as competitive. 
They described their procedure, and cleaning equipment and products in detail to me, and it seemed legit, although they said they clean dryer vents from inside out, which the company I ultimately used told me was not necessary. Not sure about that one.
 
The reason I did not use them in the end was because they did not have a contractor's license. Though it's not necessary for vent/duct cleaning, if there are competitors for the same price (or better) who do have it, why not use that company with the license, who can do more things (like make related repairs) if the need arises?
