The job ended up being more involved that originally thought. The valves under the sink were frozen shut. Since they were extremely old and outdated they needed replacement. Both jobs were done in a couple hours and turned out very well.

It went very well. Claudio replied to my request for an estimate promptly. He came when he said he would. He texted me when he was delayed. He got me a new water heater and installed it promptly. He was very easy to communicate with.

Claudio and his son were great. It has been a week since they replaced a worn out toilet and fixed a leaky faucet. Everything is working well and they did a great job! I would use them again if needed.

Fast friendly service

I've used Claudio several times over the years. A couple of days ago I had a small water heater leak but Claudio couldn't come that day, so I called another plumber. They did the work, but told me my regulator was about to blow and I needed a new one. They quoted $1,500, with a $200 senior discount. I called Claudio, gave him the specs from the other company. He came and installed the regulator the next day for $638. Claudio is knowledgeable, professional, and from now on I won't use another plumber. A1 service all the way. Can't recommend him highly enough.

The gentlemen came over late after a full day of work to keep his word about investigating a potential shower leak. He clearly was well informed and quickly fixed out issues and alleviated our concerns. We appreciated his help

Claudio quickly replaced a leaking non-threaded main water line faucet by cutting and soldering on a new threaded one on and it no longer leaks. Any future leaks can now be resolved by unscrewing the threaded the faucet and replacing it myself. He also provided helpful advice when asked about potential issues regarding caulking our kitchen sink. This is the second time Claudio has helped us with unexpected plumbing issues and we plan on calling him again for help in the future should the need arise.

Claudio was very cordial and pleasant to work with. When I called him to describe the problem, he asked for a few photographs to confirm the problem that needs to be addressed. He gave me a ballpark estimate, came over to look at the heater and sent me the final estimate, which was very close to the first estimate. He came over the next day and installed a 40 gallon Bradford White water heater, replaced the water and gas connectors, installed new drainage pan, temperature and pressure release valves, and thermal expansion tank. The old plywood was replaced with a new board, and the whole recess cabinet area looks like new now. He did a very thorough and clean job, which is very much appreciated. He was straightforward and delivered on his promises. I will recommend Claudio without hesitation for plumbing jobs of these kind.

Claudio showed up as scheduled and said he could do the job. I gave him a deposit and he said he would order parts. After approximately a week I called him and he still didn't have the parts and said it was his wife's birthday and that was why he didn't get things done. I few days later he called and said to find another plumber because he had food poisoning and a pinched nerve. I asked for a refund and still have never received one. I would never use his services again.

It went great! Claudio Carvaggio, is trustworthy, does excellent work, and I would hire and recommend him to anyone. In this world full of shyster contractors, it is so nice to know that there are still some honest people who are willing to work with you, and do an honest job for an honest price.

Claudio is extremely personable and takes the time to answer your questions thoroughly. He installed 7 new quarter turn angle valves (in place of the multi-turn valves and a supply hose. He cleaned out a shower drain and upstairs bath sink drain. He also reassembled a p-trap that I had taken apart. I am impressed and very pleased with his work. I highly recommend him.

Claudio helped me pick out a toilet and he arrived on time to replace my old toilet and faucet and he worked tirelessly and efficiently until both jobs were completed. He also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I won't hesitate to hire him again and I highly recommend his work.

After we established contact by telephone, Claudio Caravaggio came out the next day to evaluate the situation. My home is rented to a tenant, and I live 200 miles away, so all of our communication had to be by phone, and I had to trust that plumber guy on the other end of the phone... I'm pretty good about sizing other people up, so, we talked a lot on the phone, even about things that had nothing to do with plumbing. That part is important too, the learning about the values and work ethics of who you will choose to hire to work for you. To get the job done correctly, safely, and properly. There a lot of scoundrels out there, lusting after your money, who will "cut and run" once they get your dough, and Claudio is not one of them, not at all. After much phone talking (and "sizing up" LOL), I felt no need to contact other plumbers for competitive estimates to fix the water leak. Claudio did the needed repairs, and his copper pipe soldering was solid, done right, and amazingly beautiful, bordering on artwork. I also had Claudio perform a de-scaling on my Noritz tankless hot water heater while he was there. If you own a tankless, be sure to have it de-scaled every two years or so, depending on your water hardness level. Claudio is a journeyman plumber who is without a doubt "into his craft". That is to say, he loves what he does for a living. I know from that, I have been a German Car mechanic all my life. I can recognize when others in different trades are into their crafts. Claudio is into his craft, he loves it, and it shows. Fellow homeowners, you have a lot of choices when your home needs repair. Lucky for us, there is Angies list dot com, where we have the freedom to choose from the top of the heap of people we need to help us out when we need that help. Thank you, to all the great guys 'n gals at the top of Angie's List who repair the home owner things we are not able to deal with ourselves, and to get those repairs done right the first time. The trust, when dealing with contractors, this is so important. Claudio Caravaggio has my trust, 100%. I have no need to look anywhere else to handle my plumbing problems should they arise in the future.
