The technician, Steve, arrived on time and completed the hos bib replacement very quickly. During a test of the water system he found that the water valve was not operating properly. He quoted me a price to replace and determined that he had the correct parts with him and I authorized the work. It really helped that he could complete the job rather then re-scheduling another appointment. He flexibility and expertise in getting the repairs completely quickly saved having to tak more time off from work. I would definitely recommend Liberty to others.

"Great job. Anthony did a complete review of the house and the current venting and recommended the proper size for the AC. The installers and electricians came 3 days later, did additional wiring and piping and installed the entire system in 5 hours."
Using the sewer camera to inspect the inside of a customer's drains
Camera inspection through a sewer vent on a customer's roof
Hydro jet uses water at 4,000psi to clean the inside of the mainline drain which connects all the home's drains to the city's sewer system.
Using a snake we can go through the cleanouts on the side of the house.
With the cleanouts snaked, and the blockage located, we can send the hydro jet through the sewer vent and flush out the blocked drain.

"They said that they would be at my place between 8-10am. They showed up at exactly 8am!! The technician answered all my questions, he kept me informed as to what he was doing. We chit chated, he was very respectful to a senior citizen (me!!). I plan to hire Plumbing Pus every time I need the plumbing worked on and I would recommend them in a heart beat. "Arturo came out the same day I requested a bid. Next day I set a time for installation. The whole process took three days! My waterless tank is installed and working at the price we agreed on. Arturo seems to take great pride in his work and I appreciate it."

"Had a slow drain for months and thought it was a clogged drain. I knew Mickey through an apprenticeship program and called him to take a look. Mickey was extremely thorough and found the issue quicker than most plumbers! While it turned out to be a failed sump pump and a much bigger job, Mickey got it done quickly and at a reasonable rate."

"Billy was polite, professional, friendly, and explained everything very well.  I'm an almost-anything-but-my-job layman, but he went over everything clearly and made sure I understood the condition of both the interior and exterior systems.  Overall, an excellent deal and an awesome service provider.  I'll definitely be calling these duys and asking for Billy to take care of any A/C or furnace issues that may occur in the future.

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

Test regularly, clean the pump, and inspect the discharge line to ensure efficient operation.

The most common cause of a clogged sump pump is natural debris buildup. As water enters the sump pit, it can carry small pieces of debris that build up over time, or the debris can get caught in the filter. If you forget to cover the pit after cleaning the sump pump and pit, debris can also collect in the pit. Corrosion on the metal discharge pipe can also clog the pump. Additionally, if your pipes freeze, it can prevent water from draining properly and cause a clog.

Sewer ejector pumps need to be cleaned at least once a year by a professional. You shouldn’t attempt to clean it yourself because it can release sewer gasses that are toxic to humans and can be fatal. But to keep the system as clean as possible between professional inspection and cleaning services, be sure to only flush human waste and toilet paper. Avoid flushing items that can clog the system, like paper towels, grease, oil, or menstruation products.

Installing a battery backup for your sump pump is recommended, particularly if you live in an area with frequent power outages or severe rainstorms. A sump pump requires electricity to function, and a battery backup ensures it can continue to move water out of your home if the power goes out, providing crucial protection against flooding. Additionally, frequent power outages can create electrical surges that might damage the sump pump's motor. A battery backup system offers an additional layer of protection, ensuring your basement stays dry.

To maintain your sump pump, start by checking it every three to four months to ensure it’s in working order. Clear any debris from the pit because blockages can prevent the pump from operating efficiently. You should also test the pump by pouring a bucket of water into the pit. If it turns on automatically and drains the water, it’s functioning correctly. Inspect the discharge line for clogs, and ensure it directs water away from your home. Once a year, clean the pump itself, and consider having it professionally serviced for optimal performance.
