"We recently had Same Day Heating and Air Conditioning come to our house to inspect our furnaces before turning the furnaces on during the cooler winter months and they discovered that both units had gas leaks. The system is 20 years old so it wasnâ t a complete surprise although we had hoped to put off replacing them for about 1-2 years. The technician/ inspector was knowledgeable, thorough and professional in showing us pictures of the worn, damaged furnaces (2). He explained the options for repairs and replacement as well as pricing considerations. In the end we decided to have them install 2 new furnaces and 2 new heat pumps to replace our old AC units. The installation was scheduled and completed within a short time frame and done with as little disruption to our home and family as possible. Efficient and neat in their work, I can happily recommend Same Day Heating and AC. "Up front summary - I found Carini Heating and Air Conditioning to be very courteous, very professional and very expensive! I used a $69 Angie's List deal to have Carini visit my home for an Air Conditioning Tune-Up. I recommend this service as San Diego begins to reach high temperatures and increased running of AC. Carini Service Technician Anthony D. arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. Anthony immediately impressed me with his courtesy, professional knowledge and desire to educate me (the customer) on AC system operation. Anthony had a complete set of AC diagnostic tools. He quickly identified the AC system was not cooling properly due to insufficient levels of R-22 freon. This didn't surprise me as it had been a few years since freon had been added. What did surprise me was Carini's high prices quoted to fill the refrigerant: $215 for the first pound and $89 for each subsequent pound. Also surprising is that Carini only charges in full pounds. Therefore if you require 1.2 pounds you are charged for two pounds... I really do not understand this pricing policy. I approved the service as I didn't want to make another service call. Anthony added the refrigerant and now our AC unit cools much more efficiently. Kudos to Anthony D. for very professional service but some negative marks to Carini for a prohibitively expensive pricing policy."

"Javier (initial POC) and JR (the onsite technician) were GREAT! Javier called several times to make sure I understood everything that JR would be doing. When JR arrived, he was very courteous and professional. He explained the steps he would go through to troubleshoot my AC. he quickly found the problem (bad capacitor), and replaced it quickly. The whole process was less than an hour. Highly recommend Javier and his team for any heating and air conditioning issues that may arise (including purchase and installation)."
