Best contractors near Lansdowne, VA

"My home needed more functional closet space in the master bedroom, and I wasn't sure how to make it work given the space restrictions. I met with a couple of contractors previously, but was most impressed with DiJulio Contracting. The owner, Scott, came out and walked me through some different options that I had never even considered beforehand. He helped me envision the space and also gave me valuable feedback as to the cost implications for each options. A few days later, they sent me over an estimate with a detailed sketch of the two options I liked best, along with estimates for each. It even included some imagery to help me imagine things more clearly. Their pricing was competitive and I decided to hire DiJulio Contracting as I felt most confident and comfortable with them. I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. Their workers were all very courteous, punctual, and most importantly for me, cleaned up each and every day. I am so happy with my new closet and overall the process was very easy. I highly recommend Scott and his team at DiJulio Contracting."

"While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

"The process from first visit to estimate to contract was very smooth. The work started and finished on time , the guys were incredible , their skill were evident from demolish, debris removal to installation. Tony was amazing in helping us make choices for vanities , cabinets, faucets, tile choices, light fixtures and paint colors. We love our new bathrooms and Kitchen. I highly recommend Manex remodeling and would use them again."

He is very easy to reach with any questions and project was completed on schedule . Nick and his company provide excellent service and value and I would highly recommend contacting Nick when considering contractors for upcoming projects to get an estimate . Great value .. great service!"

"The entire process was great. All Renovations listened to my needs and then developed a workable plan. They then implemented that plan beautifully. They finished our basement from an empty concrete space to a beautiful living space with a kitchenette, dining area, social area, theater room, full bathroom, and bedroom/library. Our basement is now the nicest space in our house. They installed full size egress windows with window wells for extra light. All finishes were high-end such as granite countertops, porcelain tile in the bathroom, and solid wood cabinetry. Our All renovations estimator/project manager (Omar) made great suggestions in how best to deal with how to hide ducts, support structure and plumbing so that you would never know you were in a basement. He also kept the project on budget and on time, while minimizing costs were possible. Adrian was our main crewmember/contractor and he was a true craftsman and a joy to work with. All of the subcontractors they brought in were exceptional as well. Everything from the rough carpentry, pluming, and electrical, to the finishes in terms of paint, flooring, tile, and cabinetry came out flawlessly. I consider myself very picky and cannot say enough good things about how well this whole process went. All renovations listened and they delivered, and we now have a gorgeous basement we use every day."

"I needed a project completed after my previous contractors failed to show up. With a deadline approaching, they were able to fit me in on short notice at a fair price. Their quality of work, professionalism, and excellent communication were outstanding. I’ll definitely keep them in mind for future projects when requesting quotes."

"We are very happy with the work Home Equity Contractors did for us. Especially appreciated the prompt communications from Brett and that Brett cared about the health and safety of his crew. The crew did a great job, nice cleanup. We would definitely hire them again."

"Great! The crew was professional and friendly. Showed up on time and worked hard. This is the second time I've used JW. They're my go to contractor now."

"The price was very competitive. It included material and labor. Their quality was better than other contractors who have done work for us. can't even tell that he cut out the drywall and replaced it. For responsiveness, they were right there and on time. They kept everything very clean, put tarps down everywhere. You couldn't even tell there had been a construction company here. He was on time, he is good about his word, very clean."

"We were pleased with our project from start through completion. The owner and the manager were highly attentive to details throughout the process; the on-site crew were not only solid and careful, but also creative in finding solutions to odd issues that came up. The owner was always available by phone to provide guidance through the processes of selecting tile, cabinetry, fixtures, windows, floor heating or just to answer and address our questions as they arose. Most importantly, when we had a family medical emergency, WaterStone bent over backwards to get our bathroom into good enough working order that we could move back to our first floor. It was nothing but a pleasure to work with the owner and his very experienced crew. Everyone was conscientious about keeping dust contained, covering floors, sealing off rooms with plastic to keep the construction site as clean as possible. They were efficient, timely, pleasant to work with and true to their word; creative solutions to issues as they arose kept the project moving smoothy. With this fabulous team of people, we would not hesitate to hire them for our next remodeling job!"
