The reasons we keep hiring Munoz Construction is because they do excellent work and Jose Munoz communicates very well throughout the project so there are no misunderstandings and the customer gets exactly what they want. Jose’s teams are always respectful of our home, making sure to cover the floor with drop cloths and cleaning up thoroughly before leaving each day. Jose is meticulous about everything being done properly to achieve the best possible result. We couldn’t recommend Munoz Construction more highly. This is the only general contractor we will use as we trust them implicitly."

"My home needed more functional closet space in the master bedroom, and I wasn't sure how to make it work given the space restrictions. I met with a couple of contractors previously, but was most impressed with DiJulio Contracting. The owner, Scott, came out and walked me through some different options that I had never even considered beforehand. He helped me envision the space and also gave me valuable feedback as to the cost implications for each options. A few days later, they sent me over an estimate with a detailed sketch of the two options I liked best, along with estimates for each. It even included some imagery to help me imagine things more clearly. Their pricing was competitive and I decided to hire DiJulio Contracting as I felt most confident and comfortable with them. I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. Their workers were all very courteous, punctual, and most importantly for me, cleaned up each and every day. "The entire process was great. All Renovations listened to my needs and then developed a workable plan. They then implemented that plan beautifully. They finished our basement from an empty concrete space to a beautiful living space with a kitchenette, dining area, social area, theater room, full bathroom, and bedroom/library. Our basement is now the nicest space in our house. They installed full size egress windows with window wells for extra light. All finishes were high-end such as granite countertops, porcelain tile in the bathroom, and solid wood cabinetry. Our All renovations estimator/project manager (Omar) made great suggestions in how best to deal with how to hide ducts, support structure and plumbing so that you would never know you were in a basement. He also kept the project on budget and on time, while minimizing costs were possible. Adrian was our main crewmember/contractor and he was a true craftsman and a joy to work with. All of the subcontractors they brought in were exceptional as well. Everything from the rough carpentry, pluming, and electrical, to the finishes in terms of paint, flooring, tile, and cabinetry came out flawlessly. I consider myself very picky and cannot say enough good things about how well this whole process went. All renovations listened and they delivered, and we now have a gorgeous basement we use every day."

"This is the company to pick. This is the third kitchen renovation I have done so I have had some experience with contractors. By far this is the easiest and most professional group in the area. Despite COVID, this project went extremely well from start to finish. Our designer Calvin was flexible and easy to work with from day one. I had an idea what I wanted, and he took my ideas and made them better. I was able to pick and add what I wanted, like adding in the backsplash and sink I found online. He was so easy and down to earth. They didn’t nickel and dime me- the price was the price. Jason managed the work onsite with Elvis and the team. They were always on time and extremely professional. Jason was a perfectionist and checked all the work, his standards were higher than mine, always making sure everything was excellent quality. Jason would call me EVERY afternoon and check in to see how the work was going. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are responsive and actually care about the quality of their work. They managed all the work and workers. Added plus was they were very flexible and respectful with the fact we had kids and were working at home during the renovation and COVID (and had a dog). I found this company by researching online reviews. So glad I did my research because I love these people!!"

That said, make sure one of those quotes is from Navid and his team. I’ve always found that you don’t want to go with the big firm that advertises everywhere - you end up paying more. You also don’t want to go get the cheapest job you can find, because you’re probably getting low quality work too. What you really want is that middle ground, the personal touch, the care taken to make your project amazing, and the input from the contractor. "We were pleased with our project from start through completion. The owner and the manager were highly attentive to details throughout the process; the on-site crew were not only solid and careful, but also creative in finding solutions to odd issues that came up. The owner was always available by phone to provide guidance through the processes of selecting tile, cabinetry, fixtures, windows, floor heating or just to answer and address our questions as they arose. Most importantly, when we had a family medical emergency, WaterStone bent over backwards to get our bathroom into good enough working order that we could move back to our first floor. It was nothing but a pleasure to work with the owner and his very experienced crew. Everyone was conscientious about keeping dust contained, covering floors, sealing off rooms with plastic to keep the construction site as clean as possible.
