"I interviewed several contractors for my main bathroom remodel and chose VKB for their professionalism, design, and overall approach to the process. My objective was to have a large shower with a seat since the existing shower was the size of a phone booth and the bathroom configuration presented challenges. From the very first meeting with the design consultant, BURJU, I was impressed with her ideas and suggestions and her willingness to work within my established budget. She didn't recommend or suggest unnecessary or unwanted over the top items that would have blown my budget. Project manager, JASON, was on top of everything, stayed in touch with me almost daily, made sure I had all the correct cabinets and fixtures, provided me with his cell number, and asked each time if I had any questions. Last and certainly not least, MARVIN, the wonderful person who actually did all the nitty gritty hard work, worked nonstop to give me the bathroom of my dreams. I've never seen anyone work so hard and with the precision and perfectionism as he did. I absolutely love my new bathroom and would not hesitate to hire this team again. If you want beautiful, quality work, VKB is the place to go."

"I had an excellent experience with Home Breakthrough and would definitely recommend them for a bathroom remodel. Francisco and his team did exceptional work and took great care of my home throughout the entire project. One thing I especially appreciated was Francisco taking the time to go shopping with me for materials. I really didn’t know what I needed, and he helped me make selections, offering suggestions on good-quality materials that would work within my budget. Because we weren’t sure how extensive the damage would be until the work began, I needed a contractor who could be flexible as issues came up. Home Breakthrough was able to handle the additional work, including a secondary ceiling repair. The project did take longer than originally quoted, but that was understandable given the additional repairs and work that became part of the project. "We interviewed several different contractors for this work (approximately 7-8) since we knew this was going to be a large and expensive project. We felt most comfortable with Bret who took the time to understand our needs/wants and drew up a scope of the plan and a proposed layout of what we were looking for. Upon seeing his estimate, it came in on the lower end of our other contractors and based on his good reviews, we decided to move forward. Based on getting permits, the start of the job went very quickly. We have gotten quite a bit of work done in our home and have to say that Bret's crew were very professional, knowledgeable, and did very high quality work on what was done (I wish I had gone with Bret and his company for other past projects). A big plus was as we move forward with the project, we had several design changes done and Bret and his team were willing to accommodate the scope which was very helpful. While the project was going on, we also had a baby born and all the meanwhile, no interruptions in the work nor much of our time was needed to keep things going. As mentioned, our project was turn-key so his crew did everything including framing, drywall, plumbing, flooring, painting, all finishing touches to the end. What started as a basic job became a highly custom job but Bret and his team were up for the task. We are thrilled with the end result and glad we get to enjoy it with our friends and family for many years to come. In fact, everyone that has come by our home and sees the basement thinks it is really good work. This coming from someone that is very meticulous and particular. Whether we had a very minimal job or a high-end custom job, I would be confident to go with Bret and his team for the job."

"The WHOLE House project with Sunshine Contracting: Sunshine is the best "big" contractor in the area which gives them the resources to get the material and support services in place in a very timely manner. Yet, they feel like a family owned business that is vested in every client relationship they have. The project manager was in touch by phone, text, or onsite every day. The staff is personable, sincere, and pro-active with their communication. The installation team was frighteningly hard working, efficient, and dedicated. More importantly, the work team engaged us daily, proactively, and consistently. They worked so hard that they inspired me to want to help. Cold water and bad jokes were the best help I could do. The team leader looked young, yet, he had complete command of the products, problem solving, team leadership, and daily engagement with this (solid diy background/thinks he knows things) customer. I have huge respect for him and his team of installers."

"I needed a new deck and repairs to my front walkway and steps. Not only was I quoted a fair price, the work was begun and completed in record time by an amazing crew. Best of all, Sam was a joy to work with (a strange word to use when dealing with contractors but absolutely true)—no high pressure tactics just a willingness to get me through the process as easily as possible. Sam even offered to deal with my HOA if needed. They are a 1-stop shop for any type of work you need done no matter how small. Sam will be the first person I call when I need more work done. P.S.: a neighbor hired him after seeing the work done at my house."

"We had a horrendous situation with a basement floor installation that went wrong leaving our house full of fumes, and a week later we discovered our basement was contaminated by asbestos in the process.  When we called Bill and Contractors Unlimited, they were extremely responsive.  Although other companies gave us bids, Bill was able to work his schedule to fit us in weeks sooner than the others.  Although the cost was a bit more, that saved us money because we were displaced and could not even go into our house because of the fumes.  CU set up negative air machines to replace the air, they followed asbestos abatement laws, they cleaned every item that could be salvaged in our house.  They even saved more than we thought which really reduced our overall expense.  Bill and his team were extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and really went out of their way to ease our stress from this situation.  At the end of their process, Bill arranged for a air quality inspection which we happily passed - able to return home.  I would gladly recommend Contractors Unlimited for asbestos abatement.  I just wish we had called them before the floor guys  created such a disaster.  Thank you Bill!
