"Found LJ Carlton thru Angie's List. My 19 year old roof was on its last legs. Flashing around he chimney was leaking, causing rot under the gable. Estimate done by owner's son CJ. I let them know I was getting several estimates, that this would be out-of-pocket and not a homeowners insurance claim. Estimate was comparable to other contractors. They added a $250 Angie's List discount which was nice. I was told they could do my roof the following week. The day before, the owner Chris picked up a deposit for supplies. Deposit receipt e-mailed immediately. He explained what I could expect the following day. His crew led by JR showed up as promised at 7:00AM. During the installation I received texts with photos of the work in progress. My two story home (31 square) installation was complete later that evening. The crew were courteous and hard working. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards. JR filled me in on damage found and plywood replaced, before he left. Chris arrived the next day for final payment. I was impressed with the owners personal followup to be done a month later, free leaf cleaning /inspection annually if requested, and 30 year warranty on labor and shingles. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof."
