"I was searching online for a roofing company to replace the roof on my shed because it was beginning to collapse from deterioration. The first company to give me a call right back was Avany Contractors. They came over to take a look and gave me a free estimate. I hired them that same day for the job. They were able to schedule me for the upcoming week. When that day arrived, Avana Contractors were punctual, and professional, and they got the job done on time. "I had the ugliest kitchen ever! I immediately called the ONLY company I would let work for me, On Call Contracting Services. John immediately came out and gave me an estimate, but before the estimate he had me set up with an architect to redesign my lay out and John made some great suggestions that the architect put into effect. John worked the estimate to fit my budget and I decided it was now or never so I signed on the dotted line! And his company did quite a remarkable job! I couldn't believe the transformation from what I had to live with for years, to what I now LOVE and enjoy being in my kitchen again. Thank you John Ott and all the men who did this gorgeous transformation! They were THE most courteous workers I've ever dealt with. They cleaned up the area completely each day before they left. They were very careful not to let my cats out when they came in and out of the doors. They even called one morning to say they were running late but would be there within the hour. What contractors do that? They work quickly but they do such a fantastic job! I encourage everyone to call this company for anything, any kind of work you need. I would never call anyone but On Call Contracting Services, they're the best and I have been using them for years and I have referred them to all my friends!
BTW, I have also read the previous reviews and I'm not sure if Mr Barlow is talking about the same company as I am. Because On Call Contracting is FANTASTIC and they are only a phone call away and respond immediately.

"I had a great experience with DreamWorks Remodeling. Oleg and his team were a pleasure to work with - from the initial estimates to the final work being done, he kept us informed of the progress of the project every step of the way through phone calls, emails and text messages, and was more than able to answer any questions we had. To me, one thing that set DreamWorks apart from other contractors was their down-to-earth approach to sizing up the project. We ended up not getting the cheapest materials and not getting the most expensive materials, but found a good balance that would be more than sufficient for our needs. He also made sure that we were involved in any decisions that needed to be made when it came to colors, materials, placement of downspouts, etc. The manufacturer they use for shutters had about 20 different color options, but none of them were exactly what we wanted. Oleg was able to provide paintable shutters instead, so that I could just paint them whatever color I wanted and his team would then install them. This worked out well for me, as I was able to get exactly the color I wanted. They were also willing to replace the roof of our shed using the same shingles as the house, which ended up looking great. What really impressed me was the workmanship they showed in replacing the siding. This is a really big job - essentially covering every square inch of the house in new siding, replacing any rotted wooden fascia with new wood pieces wrapped in aluminum and similarly wrapping all window frames, light fixture base units, plumbing fixtures and really anything sticking out of the house with clean, aesthetically pleasing materials. As a result, it looks like a brand new house on the outside, and we couldn't be happier with the results."

"A+++ I can't say enough good things about Nolan and the team of professionals that I dealt with from start to finish. Business agent Rob Hancock stayed in touch with me throughout the process and although he said they didn't do stucco repairs he supplied me with the gentleman I did deal with and they were exceptional ( Keiran O'Grady & Seamus - Dan-Mayo stucco, Masonary, cement contractors ). Nolan team led by coordinator Connell and job manager Suzgo Banda were excellent and always timely and professional . However the real highlight was the professionalism showed by their employees, Juan Carlos and Randy. These two gentleman along with Suzgo went above and beyond even our wildest expectation. Showing up at 7 am covering and protecting all landscaping before starting these gentlemen sanded, scraped, powerwashed, masonry sealed all surfaces. Then painted what they could applying two coats on separate days in weeks one and two. The stucco guys came in on a Tuesday and worked on fixing the stucco over the next three days putting several coats on three main areas we needed replaced. Once done Nolans team came back in and are finishing up as I type. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting done inside or out as well as Dun-Mayo for reasonably priced stucco repairs. Also at the end of the job along with their survey they give each customer a $100 voucher towards their next paining project. Pretty awesome. As a footnote in our research we discovered Nolan's employees are given benefits and most have worked with them for 25 years or more. We think this is pretty amazing and as a union man helped make this decision easier."

"Luis and his team are AMAZING. From the very start, Luis was extremely responsive to phone calls and emails. He got back to me right away and was able to set up a time to do an estimate within days. He came to see the apartment and had multiple creative suggestions for how to use my space best. He was very organized when it came to submitting an estimate. All items were clearly delineated with prices and work to be done. But, in reality, he did a lot more work than he had listed on those sheets. I had many, many contractors come to give me an estimate, but Luis was unique because I could tell that he genuinely cared about how the place would look and wasn't just trying to get me to sign on. If I mentioned things, he would tell me upfront if it would be difficult or not possible, but his motto is "everything is possible" so in the end he was able to do a tremendous amount in the apartment. The unit I bought was built in the 1960s, had never been updated and had not been taken well care of. There was a TREMENDOUS amount to be done, and Luis and his team did a remarkable job. They really made my place look the best it could possibly look. They are perfectionists and independant thinkers. I never needed to tell them to do or change things - if something didn't look right, they would change it on their own. They are tremendously hard-working and extremely respectful of my things in the apartment. They would even take their shoes off once the hardwood was installed to keep the floors clean! The company is called Fine Painters, but they do a lot more than painting. They did a complete renovation from start to finish including carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, and more. I live in a building with multiple restrictions for who can do work in the building. Luis prepared all the plans, drawings etc that were needed for approval. Luis even paid for and took a course in removal of flooring with asbestos glue because that was what was required by my building even though they already knew the correct procedures. They didn't try to sell me things at a high mark-up like many other contractors do. I bought my own materials, but when I needed a suggestion (i.e. tiles, hardwood floors) Luis had great suggestions and passed on his contractor discount to me. They worked in a timely fashion and were always willing to help me with anything I needed, even if it was not in the scope of the project they were working on. They often went to the store to pick up things I had forgotten or didn't know where to get. They are very caring. Their work ethic is unmatched. They follow-up on every details with the job from start to finish. The bottom line: the work they did was unbelievably good and they were a total pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a contractor for any project, big or small, do not hestitate to have them give you an estimate. Once you meet them, you will be sold!
