Very happy with the basement. Work actually started 2-3 weeks earlier than expected. We were told the job would last about 4-5 weeks. Basement work was completed in about 4 weeks. Very professional. No worries about whether the plumber or electrician would be available. We discussed small changes to the layout (e.g., where the sink in the bathroom would be located) and everyone was very accommodating.

The Lux Renovations crew did an excellent job with our basement project. We were able to transform 800 square feet of unfinished space into a rec room with areas for ping pong, exercise and watching TV. We went with the paintable wall panels and were happy with that choice. We also went with the Karndean vinyl flooring in nude Danish Oak finish and are happy with the light hardwood floor look. The crew was very careful with all measurements, and the end result is a nicely finished space with all walls and ceilings and doors perfectly plumb and true. Dave G. was our project manager and was great to work with. James was our on-site supervisor, and he worked long days to keep the project on track and was highly skilled at everything he did.

We were very impressed by Lux Renovations from the very beginning. The design and quoting process for our basement gym project was well conducted and professional, easy to follow, and thorough. Unlike other contractors we had an estimate the project, a detailed drawing, selected all materials and colors, and had a detailed cost and timeline while the Lux representative was at our house.
The Project Management and build team was excellent to work with. Their work was top notch, clean, and completed on time and budget.
We couldn't be happier with our basement home gym.

Could not be happier with the materials, the workmanship, the professionalism and flexibility of the project manager (Dan) and primary workman (Paul), and the end result. Everything done exactly as planned, and they assisted us with some unrelated issues that weren't part of the project but were causing delays. All in all, a great experience and we love our finished basement (so do our grandkids!).

We recently had our basemen finished by Lux Renovations using the Owens Corning System. From the start, quotation, planning and completion everything was excellent. Communication when needed efficient and in particular the work crew lead by Cruz - always pleasant, on time knowledgeable and very efficient. Various areas of difficulty (pipe systems, etc.) addressed perfectly. Whoever developed this finishing system had a product development protocol par excellence! All of the way down to picture hanging system to easily removable panels if needed. The work was completed in a timely fashion, all necessary inspections were completed without any negative comment. We are now using this basement regularly and it has become quite the party area. I attach early construction and finished pictures and would be happy to answer any questions.

Working with Lux Renovations was as smooth as you would want a project to go. From having a salesperson walk us through the options, to them offering financing to then having a project manager managing the very easy going crew from beginning to end their front end office and back end all provide 5 star service. My wife and finished our basement of 960 + sqft with an additional bathroom. They worked with us around some of our custom tile work demands and helped us find a third party and always gave us the option to go with their option and/or we could shop for an alternative of which they would let us know if we would be allowed a credit based on the prepaid work. Coordination of pulling permits and approvals were all done by them and we didn't have to deal with any vendor bottlenecks as they were the ones that coordinated between the electricians, plumbers etc...overall a 5 star experience couldn't ask for more!
