"Uh-oh crazy Rebecca the Review Queen is back! Apparently, Rebecca has terrible luck as apparently, she has had poor service and left at least 8 nasty reviews within the past year alone, including a cell phone store, a marina, 2 doctors, a gym, a Starbucks for cold coffee, the U.S. Postal Service, and a hospital where she disgracefully belittled the education level of someone that waited on her. Now O'Brien's for the 2ndtime! We move several thousand people and families each year, and we are very proud of our reputation and service. Not every move goes perfect, but the vast majority goes extremely well and if there is an issue that we caused, we attempt to remedy it. Then there are people like Rebecca, who hop on a keyboard and think it is OK to say whatever they want about other people, lie, and hurl accusations without any merit or proof, leaving us to have to defend ourselves. The Rebecca saga began when we attempted to get payment for their move. We require anyone paying by credit card to pre pay their moves 3 days in advance, to make sure there was adequate funds available. Well, theirs wasn't. 2 of 3 credit cards Rebecca gave us got rejected for lack of available funds. Subsequent attempts to process the credit cards failed, and Rebecca refused to answer any our calls to rectify the situation. Despite that, in good faith we completed the move over 2 days; a move that was a complete disaster as you admitted that you were not fully prepared for your move, and we had to complete the packing. In addition, the house at destination was not complete as there was several contractors working on the house, as well as a painter, and cleaning person, and a mysterious family member that kept following the crew around. Then we get a call the next day from her husband stating the priceless jewelry was stolen suspiciously from a jewelry box, followed is by a call from you stating the same, and accusing us of the theft. Amazing that this allegedly occurred after not paying 2/3rds of the balance on the move. Despite that, the manager instructed you to call the police and file a theft report. He also informed you that the police would probably then want to interview all of our workers all of whom are experienced, and fully background checked, as well as all the contractors, the painter, and the cleaning lady that was present. We then followed up with the police department and had one conversation with an officer and we offered to give them the name and phone numbers of each employee. We have never heard anything from anyone since. Worse yet, Rebecca the Review Queen decided to go on Google and Angie's List and leave a terrible review, accusing us of theft of over $100,000.00 worth of jewelry! Without any proof. We became very suspicious for many reasons: the value of the jewelry kept changing, the magical jewelry box was actually handed to the husband, as we want jewelry, wallets, etc. to be transported by the customer themselves. Then this jewelry box with all the alleged expensive jewelry was merely set on a bed in plain view for everyone to see, including the cleaning lady that was in the bedroom, as observed by one of the movers. A couple of weeks went by and we heard nothing further on the alleged missing jewelry, nor did we receive the payment for the move. So we sent you a letter stating that we felt that the missing jewelry claim was merely an attempt to get off paying for your move, which is called "theft of service". In addition, we take all attempts of fraud and slanderous statements without proof very seriously, and that continued nonsense from you would result in us taking legal action. That still stands! So finally, almost all of your items were put were you wanted them, with no damage reported. The few remaining items were put in the garage, as that room was not completed. We received a notice from Angie's List several days after the first move that you need"
"Hi Liana, Per the owner, we wanted to apologize for what transpired during your move, and also for the lack of proper communication after you called in about the floor damage, which quite frankly can be just as frustrating. You are correct in the fact that property damage claims have to be noted and shown to the crew during the move or during the end of move walkthrough, and this is for many reasons. Frequently there are construction people, painters, cleaners, etc. present during the move and the days after. Also new furniture is often delivered after the move along with appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc. Weight equipment, ellipticals, treadmills etc. are many times purchased and delivered after the move. In addition and most importantly, with any new or refinished floors, the polyurethane must be allowed the proper time to "cure", or harden. That time-frame is typically a minimum of five days for walking, and a week for setting items such as furniture on it. During a follow up call with you yesterday we asked you when the final coating was completed, and you stated it was the day before the move and that the floor installer indicated that the floors were good to go. Therefore, no amount of protection would have prevented marks or indentations to the floor that was not allowed the proper time to harden. Quite frankly, we are now concerned about indentations wherever any heavy items such as furniture or beds are setting on. Despite this, we are disappointed with the lack of prompt and proper communication with our customer service manager during this process, and we will be sending a monetary goodwill gesture to assist with the floor repair."
"The circumstance with your cats was caused by the original driver calling off sick and us having to replace him with another driver. The salesperson did not indicate that there were cats in the home and for that we sincerely apologize. The replacement driver is allergic to cats however, that concern was easily remedied when the decision was made that the driver would remain outside to load the truck while the other members of the crew brought items out of the home. Unfortunately, as you know, the real issue was that all three crew members noticed what appeared to be cockroaches as they began to move your items causing the move to come to a halt. As there are multiple apartments in the complex, there is no way to determine the origin of the cockroaches but that is irrelevant. For several reasons, the most important being the fact that we cannot move any items once cockroaches or any other potential type of infestation has been discovered, as the truck and moving pads can become infested causing issues for the next customers move. The crew did not leave without speaking with you. They remained on-site and called the office wherein a member of the dispatch team spoke with you and informed you that the apartment needed to be fumigated. You were also informed that once the apartment had been fumigated, we would return and proceed with your move. That offer still stands, however we have not heard back from you to reschedule."

"We thank you for the feedback on the move. At O'Brien's Moving & Storage we always strive to provide professional service to our customers. We do apologize for the cancellation of your move date prior to the date of the expected weather. However, when the forecast calls for inclement weather in the interest of safety we re-schedule the move to another date. We do our best to accommodate your original move dates and closing times to the best of our ability but the physical safety of our drivers and crews is our primary concern in changing dates. In regard to the claim mentioned. We have a claims department and are happy to process your claim based on what coverage you had purchased prior to the move this coverage would have been reviewed during your estimate you may have added additional or opted out of additional coverage. We do apologize for any damages that may have occurred however you did have a top moving crew, so if you would be able to call the office and identify the gentleman on your crew that day, I would more than happy to address that person directly so we can provide better service in the future. Please call our claims department at 800-XXXX ext 319. We will happy to answer any further questions. Thank you."

"We thank you for the feedback on the move. At O'Brien's Moving & Storage we always strive to provide professional service to our customers. However, as the customer you are also responsible for securing certain moving and or parking permits for the day of the move and providing any complex rules or regulations prior to the day of service. When you failed to secure no parking signs for our trucks, it made it impossible to complete the job in the time required by your complex building. We offered to come back the next day to finish the services and you declined that service. Also, you only paid for the actual working time of crews since you initialed at the start and stop of the move so you only paid for service we provided."
