We have an older home with older pipes and fittings and they have fixed or replaced our toilets, faucets, bathtub, pipes, values, etc. You name it, they've touched it. Ralph discusses all options, explains the problem and potential solutions, and brings decisions to the homeowner to make (most plumbers and contractors that I have worked with before will make the decision and not let you know about it). Ralph shows up on time, is reasonably priced, and always picks up the phone (and responds to texts, which is a big plus for me). He doesn't shy away from difficult problems and can even recommend contractors for other types of work that need to be done. Ralph is the best for emergencies as well; he talks through problems over the phone and shows up in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended!"

"First of all, Jimmy explained in detail what needed to be done, gave me a price and then he installed a new sump pump, check valve and piping in the basement and his helper replaced the piping under my kitchen sink and also in the basement. Jimmy gave me warranties for both jobs. They cleaned up after themselves which was great. Jimmy had previously worked for me a few years ago and I would use him again."

"Great Work! Hello. I had a French Drain installed. Water was literally sitting in my walls. The Team came over On Time. They covered spaces to keep dust from accumulating on my personal items and worked diligently to get the job done. The clean up was magnificent. With this kind of work there are rocks, dirt and concrete coming and going. You would never know they were there upon completion. I had mold that had been treated prior to this work and Mike, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure that it was taken care of. Lastly and most importantly, it's been raining for the past week and a half and I see no watery walls. I hear the new sump pump they installed doing its work. "Needed leaky water valve repaired and sewer system unclogged. Came within 45 minutes of my desperate phone call. Installed new valve and new copper piping. Could not flush clog from inside, so came next day and dug 7' hole in front garden to remove the clog. Also installed vertical pipe to access any future sewer problems. Work crew had to dig out two big bushes to access the old sewer pipe at my home's foundation but replanted them along with any tulip bulbs they displaced. Truely considerate of my early spring garden! Courteous, mindful of property, work done in a timely fashion at a fair price. Explained each step in the process and why it was needful. "The previous owner of our property used his French drain installation as a selling point, but shortly after we moved in we found water in the basement after a storm. It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years). Arid is going to install new one on Friday."

"When Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew arrived, I showed him the corner of the garage that I had forgotten to show him on his first visit, where there was some sort of a drainage issue that had evolved over time. He was able to give me an adjusted price on the spot to replace the apron of the garage, re-angled to an existing drain. When the crew broke through the old apron of the garage, they found that water from the broken drain had eroded quite a bit of the earth and timber supporting the corner. Mr. DeBenedetto prescribed filling the void with concrete, and was able to adjust his price a third time to include the new materials. When all was said and done (over 2 days), Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew completed two major jobs, one completely unanticipated (not in the original price) in a quite reasonable amount of time for a very fair price. The workmanship of the masonry and drainage work is excellent. The crew was pleasant and obvioulsy quite skilled. Overall an excellent outcome to major work. I would recommend Mr. Debenedetto withot hesitation."

He gave me an estimate the same day and the price was completely fair. I scheduled a full French drain installation for 2 weeks later. Six crew members arrived on time and finished the job pre inspection in 1 day. Post inspection, which easily passed, they came back the day after and finished in half day. They were all very polite and respectful to my family and home. French Drain Installation can be a dirty job but they managed to keep my home free of dust, bringing all equipment and materials thru the basement window. I now have a very clean and neat drain system with covered sumps and a single exit pipe. I highly recommend Blue Umbrella for any basement waterproofing needs, couldn't ask for better."
