"We need some shrubs planted along our back fence, as well as some garden beds along our walkway. We got referred to Joe from a friend, and we loved his service. He was very knowledgeable on the plants and shrubs as some were in full sun, and some were covered in shade. He knew just what to plant where, and gave us some great recommendations. Our backyard looks great, as well as our newly planted Garden Beds, and walkway have a huge improvement in our curb appeal!."

"I had a dresser, air conditioner, fire extinguisher and a treadmill to be removed from my basement. Demetric and Sony were great. We set up a day and time. They worked hard especially on the treadmill. The price was fair. They are polite and friendly. I will use them again."

"Dinardi responded to our request for proposal quickly. When we eventually hired them, they scheduled and performed the work very quickly. They did an excellent job of stripping our backyard of all the old grass, weeds and debris and putting down soil and sod after grading the yard. They also explained how to take care of the new sod to assure successful results. We would highly recommend this company."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You may see specialty products for sale to remove lead dust, such as D-Lead surface wipes. But you do not need to buy a special cleaner just for lead dust. A regular all-purpose cleaner, like 409 or something similar, is sufficient for cleanup. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's directions when using it and to dilute with water.

Follow recommendations for removal or remediation to ensure a safe living environment.

It is safe to remove old linoleum, but it may require the help of a specialist due to the risk of asbestos in the material. Before you cut into linoleum or try to peel it up, have it tested for asbestos. If it tests positive, professionals will need to remove it to prevent the risk of health issues from airborne toxic particles. If it’s asbestos-free, DIY removal is possible and safe.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

Unfortunately, lead dust does not look different from any other type of dust. You cannot detect it with the naked eye. To determine if you have lead dust in your home, you will need to hire a local company to take a sample from the paint and test it for you in a lab.
