Ralph discusses all options, explains the problem and potential solutions, and brings decisions to the homeowner to make (most plumbers and contractors that I have worked with before will make the decision and not let you know about it). Ralph shows up on time, is reasonably priced, and always picks up the phone (and responds to texts, which is a big plus for me). He doesn't shy away from difficult problems and can even recommend contractors for other types of work that need to be done. "Great Work! Hello. I had a French Drain installed. Water was literally sitting in my walls. The Team came over On Time. They covered spaces to keep dust from accumulating on my personal items and worked diligently to get the job done. The clean up was magnificent. With this kind of work there are rocks, dirt and concrete coming and going. You would never know they were there upon completion. I had mold that had been treated prior to this work and Mike, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure that it was taken care of. Lastly and most importantly, it's been raining for the past week and a half and I see no watery walls. I hear the new sump pump they installed doing its work. "Weather-Tite was recommended to me by a contractor who I trust to evaluate and repair water and moisture issues that I was having in my garage. Bob and his crew did a phenomenal job!! My husband and I are beyond thrilled with the results! They are professional, courteous, and fastidious. Half of my garage is underground, as there is a hill in my front yard leading up to the house. The repair involved excavating dirt along the front of my house next to the garage foundation wall down to the drain pipe, repairing cracks and holes, applying waterproofing and more. The interior wall was cleaned and drylock masonry paint was applied. My landscaping on the outside had to be removed and then put back. They did such a good job that you couldn't even tell it had been moved at all. We also had Bob and his crew complete a second job for us. This involved excavating another trench but in the back of the house along 16 feet of the foundation, replacing a drain pipe and waterproofing. They were at our house for three days. "The previous owner of our property used his French drain installation as a selling point, but shortly after we moved in we found water in the basement after a storm. It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years). Arid is going to install new one on Friday."

"Roland contacted us promptly and set up an appointment to evaluate within a few days. We described the water problem we were having and he looked into possible causes. After ruling out a couple of things he said that French drains were the way to go. He accommodated our schedule when setting up a date for the work to begin. Work was started on schedule and was completed over three days. The work crew was pleasant and communicative. On some days the number of people working was pretty large. The project consisted of digging a perimeter trench along the basement wall; installing filler fabric, stone, and perforated PVC pipe to exit into a sump pump; installing a sump pump and a battery backup; connecting the sump pump drainage to our municipal storm drain; drilling out the bottom foundation blocks and mounting drain board to the foundation; re-cementing the concrete floor; reconstructing a concrete platform at the foot of our basement stairs that needed to be removed for the trench to be dug; clean up and removal of debris. All of these things were done expertly. The construction area was curtained off to keep dust and debris isolated. In order to run the drain out to the municipal storm drain it was necessary to dig under a section of sidewalk. The workmen targeted a section of sidewalk that was in need of repair already, so we got the benefit of a repaired sidewalk as well! We knew at the outset that this company does not do electrical work. A power line for the pumps had to be installed by another contractor after the drain was completed."
