The new fixtures are much higher quality and corroded pipes were replaced, everything was wiped clean, vacuumed and received instructions on usage to ensure no issues. Rates quoted were very competitive especially given that they upgraded the fixtures and installed new pipes. I have already scheduled Ralph and Peter for my bathroom renovation in the fall and will use for all future plumbing needs."

"First of all, Jimmy explained in detail what needed to be done, gave me a price and then he installed a new sump pump, check valve and piping in the basement and his helper replaced the piping under my kitchen sink and also in the basement. "Needed leaky water valve repaired and sewer system unclogged. Came within 45 minutes of my desperate phone call. Installed new valve and new copper piping. Could not flush clog from inside, so came next day and dug 7' hole in front garden to remove the clog. Also installed vertical pipe to access any future sewer problems. Work crew had to dig out two big bushes to access the old sewer pipe at my home's foundation but replanted them along with any tulip bulbs they displaced. "I hired Bob Lindsay to put in French drains and 2 sump pumps after getting water in my basement in July and from Hurricane Henri. He came and evaluated the situation, gave me an estimate on the spot and scheduled my job within a few weeks (unfortunately Hurricane Ida came in between). His crew did an amazing job. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to prep my basement with extreme care of my belongings, covering everything in plastic. They worked tirelessly for 2.5 days and completed all of the work ahead of schedule although they had some unexpected mechanical problems . They cleaned up and left my basement better than they found it. The crew worked like a well oiled machine and Bob was always available for my questions. "The previous owner of our property used his French drain installation as a selling point, but shortly after we moved in we found water in the basement after a storm. It turned out that the "French drains" were a trench at the edges of the basement and a sump pump. The drains were not piped to the sump pump. We had Arid install real French drains with pipe to the sump pump well. Thus was in 2005 and we have not had any water in the basement since. Pat explained the job well and his team performed it quickly. They cleaned up well afterwards. The pump finally gave out last night (after almost 12 years). Six crew members arrived on time and finished the job pre inspection in 1 day. Post inspection, which easily passed, they came back the day after and finished in half day. French Drain Installation can be a dirty job but they managed to keep my home free of dust, bringing all equipment and materials thru the basement window. "Roland contacted us promptly and set up an appointment to evaluate within a few days. We described the water problem we were having and he looked into possible causes. After ruling out a couple of things he said that French drains were the way to go. He accommodated our schedule when setting up a date for the work to begin. Work was started on schedule and was completed over three days. The work crew was pleasant and communicative. On some days the number of people working was pretty large. The project consisted of digging a perimeter trench along the basement wall; installing filler fabric, stone, and perforated PVC pipe to exit into a sump pump; installing a sump pump and a battery backup; connecting the sump pump drainage to our municipal storm drain; drilling out the bottom foundation blocks and mounting drain board to the foundation; re-cementing the concrete floor; reconstructing a concrete platform at the foot of our basement stairs that needed to be removed for the trench to be dug; clean up and removal of debris. All of these things were done expertly. The construction area was curtained off to keep dust and debris isolated. In order to run the drain out to the municipal storm drain it was necessary to dig under a section of sidewalk. The workmen targeted a section of sidewalk that was in need of repair already, so we got the benefit of a repaired sidewalk as well! We knew at the outset that this company does not do electrical work. A power line for the pumps had to be installed by another contractor after the drain was completed."
