The issue was a stuck Shower knob The final bill was $960. I ended up paying $800. Mason insisted on changing the cartridge- He over charged me on the cartridge and didn't give a receipt. His charge for the cartridge was $600. Rest of the cost was his labor. I am not happy with the price.

"I’m sorry that you feel that way . I gave you the price before the work began. You have a 25 year old grohe thermostatic mixing valve that was ceased due to the quality of your domestic water . The part cost me 520$ plus tax . I drove to 3 supply house to locate that part .i have 2 hours of labor to remove and reinstall the cartridge. So that fact that you refused to pay full invoice i had to drop the price down so that i may get paid.after you payed that amount that once again you agreed on you called me up [Member Information Removed] minutes later and asked me for the receipt for the cartridge that the price was noted on . And i still told you that i have no problem coming back and removing the cartridge i put in and reinstall the old cartridge and give you a full refund, you still managed to give a bad review. I’ve worked hard my whole career to be completely transparent and maintain my 5 star review."

Mason got my call for the work request on a very short notice. He was able to accommodate and came in for an estimate on the same day! He was extremely knowledge (also passionate) about plumbing and explained my work request, walked me through options and alternatives I have, and then gave me a very reasonable quote. He then came back on the scheduled work day on-time to my apartment and did the job very efficiently. He left everything clean the tidy asked me to exam out the outcome. During the entire time, I feel respected and educated for each and every step. I cannot recommend Mason more! Look no further, he’s the guy!

After consulting with three other plumbers, we hired Mason, Ace of Drains Plumbing & Heating LLC, to remove and replace a 20-inch stream pipe. Mason stood out because he is knowledgeable and communicates well with the customer. He and Alex, his apprentice, were punctual. Mason and Alex are mechanically inclined and clean up as they work. Most notably, he is reliable, and he does charge hidden fees. In the future, I would hire Mason and refer friends.

I spoke with Mason on the phone and explained the problem and he came out the next day to see what the problem was and set up a time for the next morning for the repair needed on the heater. The work was explained to us and done very quickly on what they needed to repair. Mason and Alex are very professional on the work they do. They are very friendly and nice to talk with you while doing the work. I would also recommend them and work with them again.

Wow! I was more than impressed with the service we received. It was Mother’s Day and my bathroom drainage decided to melt down. I contacted Ace Drains and was so happy they responded quickly. They kept the appointment and really worked to fix our issue and made sure all was taken care of before they left. I have one bathroom and they knew I NEEDED help! Mason is the only plumber I will ever use again! He did work for me in my old condo and then replaced all of the plumbing and installed a new HVAC system in a house I recently purchased and renovated. He gives honest recommendations, is reliable always showing up when he says he will- especially for emergencies, and overall genuinely a nice person to welcome into your home. Working with Ace of Drains was a good experience. The communication throughout the project was easy over text, phone and visits. When I realized I needed a new toilet, Ace of Drains worked with me to meet my needs including ordering the toilet, delivering/installation and disposal of all the old waste to off sight. The two plumbers who performed the work were highly professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I will hire them again when I need a plumber.

The hot water heater was competently and professionally installed to resolve the issue of the loss of my previous hot water heater which was destroyed by the water rain of Hurricane Ida ?. Everything is in order now.

I had an emergency home repair involving my main sewer line. It began with a sewer back-up and it escalated from there. I found Ace of Drains on Angi's list and called them for an estimate. I decided to hire Ace of Drains because Mason, the lead plumber, was very thorough in explaining exactly what the issue was. After further assessment, it was concluded that the entire sewer line needed to be replaced (inside and outside) and the bathroom in my basement needed to be demoed and rebuilt since the sewer line ran underneath the bathroom floor. What was supposed to be a short job to complete, turned into a more entailed project. I was also traveling soon and was not sure if everything would be completed on time for my trip. Mason was very straightforward and honest. He was reassuring, guided me through the entire process and thoroughly answered any questions I had. His crew worked diligently to ensure the completion of all work from start to finish and on time for my trip! Mason and his staff were courteous, communicative, and hard working. Their professionalism, expertise, work ethic and communication exceeded my expectations. I will continue to use Ace of Drains for future projects and highly recommend them for any of your repairs.
