"We recently worked with Ralph and Triangle Classic Homes for the second time, and they once again exceeded expectations. Our focus was on remodeling our 70s ranch-style home bathroom due to a progressing disability. The old design felt cramped, so we wanted a more accessible and seamless space. Ralph's team handled the challenge with ease and confidence, relocating the shower and upgrading the vanity for wheelchair access without sacrificing aesthetics. The bedroom transformation was equally impressive, with luxurious hardwood flooring and a popcorn-free ceiling. Ralph paid special attention to ensure all transitions were flush, allowing for easy movement throughout the rooms. We highly recommend Ralph and Triangle Classic Homes for their unmatched professionalism, expertise, and dedication to excellence. They are turning our house into a cherished home, and we look forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you, Triangle Classic Homes!"

"I have never had to have anything like this done before. We are putting new flooring down and over the years the house had settled. We called in a local structural engineer, Bill Wingate, he assessed the project and said he worked well with Falcone. I called them and they came down and confirmed Mr. Wingate's opinion and e-mailed me an estimate. It was very close to what I expected considering the work that was to be done. They scheduled me and I paid them the deposit. They came in (Tom and Dan) and got right to work. They were very kind and answered all of my questions and their politeness was only outdone by their focus on doing an excellent job. They overcame any structural imperfections in the home's original design. When Mr. Wingate came in for a final walk through with Tom and I he said everything was correct and that they had done a great job. You can bet that I will recommend, without hesitation, to my neighbors. Thank you is not enough for Tom and Dan. They put their best foot forward. I am very pleased."

"Josue Morales, Michael Gabriel, and Anthony McCleary Jr., came and encapsulated our crawl space. they were professional and hard working crew. They finished our job in two days. They explained the work and completed as expected. We are in Pinehurst area and the humidity level fluctuates high and low, this is a problem for our floors before we encapsulated the crawl space we had our floors damaged by high humidity. After re-flooring our entire house, we chose Tar Heel Basement Systems to protect our investment, the floors as well as the rest of our house. I give the Tar Heel Basement Systems 5 Stars. Their staff from our inspector (Mark Caddell), to the work crew were easy to work with and the work was completed as scheduled and they were available for our questions before and after the work was completed. "Excellent. Our crawl space previously had standing water in it much of the year but is now clean and dry and has been for 2 years. Regional Waterproofing was very professional, doing the job quickly and effectively, and came out a couple of times to do some followup tweaking of the setup. We are thrilled with the results and would definitely recommend this service for others with a damp crawl space.

"The only problem I have is, I believe one of the pile jacks was place in the wrong place on foundation. The sketch show it on the left side and it was place on the front under porch which I don’t think is doing a lot for house foundation. Other than that the job went great. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to hire."

"The project was difficult, finishing an already partially converted carport into a garage/workshop. They worked well with a bad weather season and took the time to make sure I was well in the loop with changes and also fully incorporated the changes I wanted without additional costs incurred I am definitely happy with the final product. and am considering another small project in future."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Address drainage issues, avoid heavy loads, and seal cracks to prevent future settling.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.

A sinking foundation can be lifted, most often by installing piers to re-level and support the weight of the house. Depending on the cause and extent of the sinking, other methods to lift a foundation include underpinning and mudjacking. Consult a foundation repair pro to determine the best way to lift your sinking foundation.
