They explained the work and completed as expected. We are in Pinehurst area and the humidity level fluctuates high and low, this is a problem for our floors before we encapsulated the crawl space we had our floors damaged by high humidity. After re-flooring our entire house, we chose Tar Heel Basement Systems to protect our investment, the floors as well as the rest of our house. I give the Tar Heel Basement Systems 5 Stars. "This is, literally barring disaster, the only time in my life I'll ever have my home roof replaced. The job Rodas did looks excellent, and everything important was fine. But I the roof will have to be on for a few years before I'll really know if it was good job or not. The crew was fast, generally very careful, and appeared to do excellent work. My house and garage took them a day and a bit. They were in a hurry on the second day, and failed to get all the grit off my deck. They also left a couple of pieces of tarpaper stuck behind a downspout above the second-floor level and didn't clean up around and under where they had parked in my alley driveway. Someone came to check the quality of the job a couple of hours after the crew left, noted those problems, and promised to get the crew back to clean them up. But they never showed. This is a minor complaint, but it was irksome."

"I had a flood for the first time in the crawlspace and basement. I called Regional Foundation & Crawlspace Repair to come out. They wanted 27K for crawlspace encapsulation, that was too much and I could do most the work myself. I instead paid them $5,000.00 to bury a geodrain and install a triple safe sump pump system. This is the job they did, they installed the sump pumps at the 3rd to lowest point in the crawlspace and this geodrain goes back and forth from uphill to downhill. The lowest point still allows water to flood downstairs. They also cracked a chunk of my foundation at the point of sump pumps egress. Outside they just threw rocks on ground were the water comes out and can get back into the ground to reenter the crawlspace. They got 1 star because the people were nice, their job was not. Update as of 4/23/2024 they contacted me and said they wanted to make sure everything was good. A Girl and guy came out and noticed a couple things I didn't and said they would fix it that their company does not do work like that. They dug up all the previous geodrain and moved it to walls, tried to level out the drain and changed the location of the pumps and the drain outside. She had a really good work ethic and never took a break. The guy was on the other side of house and think he did good too. Everything they did looked professional and looks like they fixed everything. They had to come back today to finish the work today, but had three of them. It all looks good and they tested everything. They apologized about the old work and were not sure went wrong, but I don't have a negative view of the company now and am satisfied with the work they did. Just nocking one star for the under trained individuals that came the first time, the second crew was great!"

"The only problem I have is, I believe one of the pile jacks was place in the wrong place on foundation. The sketch show it on the left side and it was place on the front under porch which I don’t think is doing a lot for house foundation. Other than that the job went great. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to hire."

"Make sure the person giving the estimate explains exactly what it looks like. They did not bring their own water to mix the cement. We had to remove the water tank so that they could work and ended up hauling water from the neighbors house."

"Estimated cost for bathroom was $575; final cost was $700 due to additional problems encountered with floor supports. Returned later to fix a buckle in the vinyl near the door. The bathroom floor looks good. Mr. Hargrove had some problems getting into the house because my renter was not always there and I live 150 miles away.
