My wall is stabilized.

Drastic improvement compared to my crawlspace previously. Workers seemed rushed during install and it was difficult to schedule team to come back and make final corrections to pass inspection. Sales person never responded to any requests for assistance after job was booked.

Friendly crew of three got the job done in a single day. Clearly explained the process and documented their work with photos. They were the most costly of the 3 contractors I got estimates from, but I appreciated their professionalism and the quality of products used.

This was the WORST experience. The initial visit was a complete conversation i circles as the representative obviously didnâ t know what he was doing. An hour and a half later he quoted us a price to complete 3 walls with specific materials. When the installer came out the work completed was short 2 walls and of course the price didnâ t change. When I called the â supervisorâ he said Oh I see you need this & that at $4000 plus. We explained there was a misunderstanding and itâ s okay but you need to honor your word via your employee. They came up with several more price options. That commercial explaining a concrete install with gravel and a jack never happened. We received gravel and a jack. This is how you treat paying customers who have extended grace allowing you to come in and do honest work. God sees everything. You should have treated us better.

Bennett and his team encapsulated the crawl space and installed a dehumidifier. They did a great job. When they cleaned up they even took away a few cinder blocks I had in the yard. As for the work, I can tell the inside of the house is less humid and my AC doesn't need to be on as much.

We had encapsulation and drainage put in our crawlspace by Tarheel Basement Systems. The crew they sent out was excellent! Jaylynn, Jahi, Derrick, and Travis. Great customer service and communication throughout the process. They were done in a couple of days and the work looks outstanding.

Josue Morales, Michael Gabriel, and Anthony McCleary Jr., came and encapsulated our crawl space. they were professional and hard working crew. They finished our job in two days. They explained the work and completed as expected. We are in Pinehurst area and the humidity level fluctuates high and low, this is a problem for our floors before we encapsulated the crawl space we had our floors damaged by high humidity. After re-flooring our entire house, we chose Tar Heel Basement Systems to protect our investment, the floors as well as the rest of our house. I give the Tar Heel Basement Systems 5 Stars. Their staff from our inspector (Mark Caddell), to the work crew were easy to work with and the work was completed as scheduled and they were available for our questions before and after the work was completed. Technicians Nyles and Tyree were punctual, knowledgeable, courteous, and explained the plan, the results, and answered all of my questions. The foundation work has made a noticeable positive difference.

Great experience. We had washout area under the concrete surrounding our pool. Tarheel came out to review our project and gave us an estimate for injecting foam to raise our concrete that had fallen and also fill in gaps underneath that had washed out. Once we hired them, we got on their schedule. They sent reminders for our appointment, called the day they were coming to let us know when they would arrive. Tarheel performed the work, left our site clean. We are very happy with the service from beginning to end.

Grace and Rodrigo arrived to inspect the job and make sure it was complete. They called to let me know when they would be arriving, reviewed the install and checked in with me before they left today. They were polite and professional throughout their review! I would definitely recommend Tar Heel Basement Systems.

I want to thank Tarheel for the outstanding job that Robert, Joe and Jack did to fit my foundation problem. They were very professional, and they explained how they were going to fit the problem. Awesome Job! I highly recommend this company and this team.

Overall very glad I choose Tarheel. The office staff and their communication is in need of better service they do not follow up and can be lacking in setting times. However with this type of business the installers and supervision is where you need excellence and that they have. Our supervisor for the project was Grace and her crew, Preston and Alvarro could not have been better. Actually due to Grace I was able to get a change order for additional work the original salesman didnt communicate could be done. Once we got going she and her crew were wonderful. The crew all showed attention to detail they were POLITE, and very hard working. The three of them worked none stop to finish in one day what others might have drug out! I would use Tarheel again and ask for Grace, Alvarro and Preston! Maybe even Grace up front on the sales side...she should do both!!

Couldn't identify project accurately from dropdowns: fixed my crawlspace and installed a dehumidifier. The team did an excellent job and finished in about 1/2 day. I can highly recommend the company AND the team (Shane English - foreman, Luke Bolinger, and Riley Lane). Happy Customer!

Tar Heel Basement Systems has done both a foundation stabilization and then a year later, crawl space encapsulation. The James, James, Jeffery, and Terell team was definitely the 'A-Team'. I hired THBS to repair a foundation crack for my home that was 25 years old. The salesman, came out and gave us an estimate within a few days and we signed the contract 11/4/2022, and paid the deposit on 11/22/22. We were under the impression we would have this completed by the end of the year. The engineer requested n additional support pier, on 12/2/22 so we had to sign a new contract on 1/11/2023. . There was not a lot of communication from the company in those 2 months and most of it was initiated by me. I feel like for the amount of money we spent we should have been more in the loop. I get it that it was over the holidays, but communicate that to the customer if you have delays due to vacations and such. I spent a lot of time wondering if I made the right decision to go with THBS. Now the installation crew was AMAZING!! They arrived on time, on the correct day (2/2/23) ready to go to work. They make sure not to drive over my water/sewer lines and determined the best way to get to the work area with the least disruption to my yard. It was drizzling rain and had been raining the previous days, so my yard was a soggy, red clay mess. I watched them work like a well-oiled machine. Never saw anyone standing around not working. Josiah, Chris, Robert and Rodrigo did a great job working in the rain. I watched some of the process and they were very deliberate in explaining what they were doing and answered any questions that I had completely and professionally. I can't say enough about those guys. The only thing that I can complain about regarding the install is I didn't realize how much of a mess it would make of my yard. The weather didn't help with that, as the red clay was just a mushy, sloppy mess because of the rain. The harder these guys tried to push the dirt back in place, the more muddy it became. Not their fault-just the weather and the soil. I will recommend THBS to others.
