Mr. Hairston was punctual and complete. I did not have any problems getting through to him, nor receiving responses. The job was completed at a Rental property I own, and I would not go anywhere eles for plumbing from now on. This is the kind of service I was looking for. From this point on, As long as he is available I will use him for my plumbing jobs. Mr. Hairston had 2 other jobs before me, and I respected that, as he said he would fit me in. That if fair, as I think people are not considerate that they were not the first person to call, thus waiting should be expected, or understood that the person they call may not be able to get to them at all. On top of all of that, this was a Saturday request, and not planned. He has proven to me that he is sufficient and knows his field well. At this time, my rental property is not leaking hot water from the faucet, nor is my outside faucet loose. Thank you Hairston plumbing for taking care of my customer needs.

This individual seems to not stand by his word. Unfortunately, I found that out after the fact. I really gave my review way too soon. Now I understand the reviews that established that there was a lack of response and professionalism. Les me explain why the sudden change in my initial review. Because of appointments that I needed to make on the service date of 9/13/14.  I was not present during the actual work. (it was a rental property that I had a tenant living in) I did see the finished product later and it was satisfactory. However I would not use these services again. When I attempted to pay him, he gave me an address that I thought he was at. When I arrived there, it was found to be his fathers house. The contractor was on the other side of town saying it was ok to pay his father and that he would later e-mail me a receipt. (I know that was a bone head move on my part), but I took him at his word. I never received a receipt even after several pleads to send me  my receipt. Instead I would get the same response, "Mr. Smith, To this date I have never received a receipt even after several pleads through Angies List. All I would get is the same response: "Your information is recorded and I will send you out your receipt." Yet, I would never get it. I realize this person is not going to give me a receipt. The work may have been acceptable, but due to his lack of professionalism, and dishonesty, I would not recommend his services. He simply just does not keep his word.

"John and his team did an excellent job. I really appreciate them coming out and saving my family from the cold . We called several companies and all they wanted to do was sell us a new boiler. But, once I talked with John he assured me that he could get my boiler back running and they did just that ! Also they helped educate us through the process. "New special order unit came in very quickly, and installation was scheduled for the next day. Old unit was removed and hauled away. New unit was professionally installed with attention to detail not present on the old unit. No damage to walls or floors, and installers used extra measures to prevent outside dirt, snow, and water from being tracked into the house. Very happy with the entire purchase/installation experience."

"Started with brand of furnace, asked what I had done to attempt to fix the problem.  (It was then that I realized how 'ignorant' I really am.)  She recommended I check the circuit breaker.  Never occurred to me to check since I had electricity on the first and second floors.  Got a bit suspicious when the stairwell light to the basement didn't come on.  So, I got a flashlight and checked the breaker.  Turned it off and then on again.  And ... low and behold, the furnace came on.  (guess who was Very Embarrassed)   We went on to chat a bit to make sure it was going to stay on.  She was very pleasant and understanding.  I inquired about replacing my furnace humidifier and she gave me information as well as cost.  A bit pricey, but I'm fairly confident I will call back and schedule to have them install one.
