It went pretty well. There was some tape residue left on our hardwood floors from the installers using blue painter's tape. We were reimbursed for the damages. However, I would recommend that they don't do this on future customers' floors, especially in an older home like ours.

Company was always very responsive and accommodating of my schedule. I was called several days before to confirm / remind me of date and time and then called the morning of the work to say they were on their way. Michael, Ray and Nick were friendly but very professional. They explained everything they did and cleaned up so well you’d never know any work was done. I am now looking forward to winter to see how my heat bills are affected!!

Fabulous experience from the original home evaluation to the actual insulation in rim joist in basement. Punctual. Good information supplied. Able to do foam insulation at a slower psi so I didn't have to evacuate my home. Eric and Mike even helped move some furniture back for me. Great experience.

great. We bought the analysis package. The rep came out and spent nearly three hours that included a whole house air leakage test, inspection and photos of whole house with infra-red camera. Plan of action was proposed and potential utility rebates were discussed. We signed up for the service which took five days, by a crew of three. Very professional, daily cleanup and went above & beyond.

It went great, it was a messy job because it involved removing the old, nasty insulation, but the guys did their best containing the mess. The attic is very difficult to work in due to the low ceiling and they did a great job, no cracks in the ceiling or anything. I also ended up with a "super deck" which is a platform with foam underneath giving me some more storage space that I desperately needed. I can see now that my neighbors house has icicles (which can signal an impending ice dam), and I have none. I gave a B for price because this is an expensive job, I don't believe you can get it for significantly cheaper, but the quality of the job, comfort, and properly functioning attic space are definitely worth it.

great. They were timely, neat, cleaned up during the process. I would recommend them without hesitation. The salesperson was great, explained the process. Returned calls immediately. The office person, Erin was also terrific as well.

The person performs the inspection is very knowledgeable and experienced. He quickly identified the leaking in these two areas. He also took pictures in the stained insulation to show the leaking. At the end of inspection, he mentioned he'll E-mail me the pictures when he went back to his office in the afternoon. But, he didn't. I called the next day and he mentioned he was busy the previous afternoon. He then mentioned he'll send me the pictures later that day. But, I never received the pictures. That's a bit of disappointment for me for his lack of being able to deliver his promise.

The experience from start to finish was very smooth. Jonathan did the original analysis, which was very thorough and detailed. I knew I had significant heating loss going on, and his audit confirmed just how bad it was. The installation crew took extra care to protect my house. They were also very professional and got the job finished in one day, even though it was scheduled for two. After the job was done they cleaned everything up nicely, and also showed me pictures of all the completed work. Great job!

The team that executed the project was punctual and knowledgeable and they mostly stick to what the sales guy has promised. However, there was one last-minute change: they claimed it would take too long to remove the siding and apply the dense-pack insulation on second floor walls from the outside, making it impossible to finish the project in just one day. The alternative was to drill holes from the inside to apply the insulation, which I approved. They cover the holes when the finished, but it didn't look good (see the picture I attached). They run a blower door test before and the result was 4,175 cfm50. After the finishing, they did the test again and the result was 2,850 cfm50 (31.7% of improvement). They applied with Consumer's Energy and DTE for rebates and I could get back a significant amount of what I invested on this project.

The main problem areas (master bed and bath) are definitely warmer. The guys that came and did the work (Ethan and Lamar) were good guys and did the best they could. However, it was sold to me that the gaps would all be filled. They weren't. You can see it on the heat gun. So, I don't feel as thought I was given what I was sold. Yes, it is warmer but we can still see the gaps of cold in several locations when you look at the heat gun. If you hire this company (or any company) to retro-insulate your house, here is some advice: - demand they bring the heat gun when they do the work so that they can tell where they need to drill more holes and put more insulation in. I have no idea why they don't do that anyways. It is counter-intuitive to use the heat gun when you *sell* the job but then not use it when you *do* the job. - tell them to not leave as much mud on the dry wall repairs. The painters suggested this after having to sand down thick layers of mud over the repaired holes. I had some other issues they they were *very* responsive in taking care of. Now, everything is painted and the dry wall is all repaired. Unfortunately, I didn't have them come back with the heat gun until after all of that work was done. So ,I can't afford to have them drill more holes again and repair and paint them all again. In summary, my house is warmer and I think they are good people but they weren't able to do all that they claimed.

Started with home energy audit that cost only $59. Sales / tech person was very professional. Performed an energy audit that took HOURS. it was not a rushed job, and he reviewed his assessment with me in detail. That alone was worth the cost. He pointed out spots where there were big heat losses in my home, and what could be done to resolve them. Never pressured me to get the services, but he did show me which things I could do and how much they'd cost, as well as the rebate I'd receive from my energy company. I selected to get my basement rim joist spray insulated, add insulation to the attic, add insulation caps to all the recessed lighting fixtures in the attic, add insulation do attic entryway, and spray and install more insulation around the bonus room above my garage. Each one was an option, and gave improvements to the overall comfort of the house. Work was done in 2 days (they needed to come back due to power issues for the insulation blower). Overall, I'm happy with the results. house is more comfortable and furnace is running less.

They did a good job and it has made the home more comfortable. I've been recommending them to everyone. Only suggestion would be for a better clean up of the cellulose that got in our mulch. It will breakdown, but it doesn't look the best.

Greg came out and did a blower test, where you seal off the house and put a large blower fan in the door to highlight leaks. He then spent almost four hours taking us around the house with an infrared camera showing us all the areas that were leaking. You could feel cold air pouring out of every door jamb, and his camera showed some very major insulation issues, including an area where the heating ducts to two bedrooms were going through completely uninsulated/ourdoor areas. He gave us a few different options, and we opted for "the works." This was a four step process that included them going into the attic and sealing many areas, then pumping 60 bales of cellulose insulation into the attic to bring it from less than R19 to R60. Then they used spray foam in the basement to seal the entire rim joist. They also put special sealed domes around all of our recessed lights. Finally, they took part of our porch down, stuffed insulation everywhere, spray foamed, and reassembled everything perfectly. The result was exceptional! The house used to feel drafty and cold, even at 71 degrees. Now it feels warm and toasty as soon as you walk in. Greg also came back at the end and did another blower test, and was able to get us $750 in Consumer's Energy rebates because they cut air loss down by 50%, added so much insulation, and a few other factors. Lastly, even the office staff was super helpful. When I called, they knew who I was and what job I was calling about based on a first name. There wasn't any "please wait and I'll transfer you" or anything like that. Fantastic service! If you need insulation pick Blanket Insulation!
