The mixup regarding the costs was due to us not updating our After-Hours service call fee on Angie's List. We did, however, take $25 off our $150 service call fee. We have since updated our service call fees on Angie's List.Service Provider Response
The description of the work performed is a "whole house review". When we perform a whole home inspection or "review", we provide our clients with a list of items that we found that were not compliant with current electrical codes, as that is exactly what we were hired to do. We then provide our clients with a cost breakdown to have those items brought up to code. It's very simple really, and is an expected practice for the contractor to provide costs for any electrical repairs or upgrades noted in an inspection report.Service Provider Response
This client was informed that an estimate would be provided within a week. As of this review, a week hasn't passed. This review is inaccurate and unfair based on the information and timeline given to the client. ***UPDATE*** We sent our proposal within the stated timeframe and were hired by this client and completed an extensive project with excellent results. We even made a repair rather than the anticipated replacement to an attic fan, saving the client hundreds of dollars.Repairing of appliances.
