I was quite concerned that they might have to tear up my newly painted basement ceiling to complete the work, but I was very pleased that they were able to utilize an existing spare dedicated circuit which saved me the cost of drywall repair and paint. Stephen was the journeyman electrician who completed the work and I found him to be punctual, friendly, considerate and highly skilled. He followed all COVID-19 recommendations and he did a nice job of protecting my floors and cleaning up after the work was done. Finally, he explained everything to me in a way that I could undertsand it. It was a pleasure working with Macson Electric and I'll be calling them first for any future electrical needs. The work was originally scheduled to begin on October 14 but did not commence until November 4, and the project was not completed until December 10. What should have been a straightforward undertaking extended to nearly two months. During the process, we were advised to order the wrong product, which was subsequently installed and could not be returned. As a result, the deck?s initial appearance was unsatisfactory. There was lot of miscommunication between him and his contractors. We ended up with two different contractors and the second one completed To his credit, Doug corrected the issue by having the incorrect boards removed and replacing them with the proper materials. However, this required us to purchase the correct materials ourselves, further delaying the project. While the finished deck ultimately looks excellent, the overall experience was marked by significant frustration and avoidable setbacks. "
