"We met with Ryan and Pete who were both extremely professional and knowledgeable. They met with my husband and I discuss new windows for the main floor of our single family home. We have a toddler and newborn and Ryan helped keep our toddler occupied and was very understanding and patient as we had to multitask in taking care of our kids while also discussing the window project. We were impressed by their warm, genuine approach which is very different from a typical salesperson trying to get you to go with their product. You could tell they truly believed in the company, the goals and values, and the product/services they provide. Due to personal reasons we weren’t able to invest in the project right now but we will 100% be contacting Ryan in the future and using Peak for all our future window/roofing needs. The pricing was very fair. And the after-the-job customer service has been nothing but over-the-top. Elliott is responsive and cares about his customers, which is why he will be the one to install the next roof on my house when it is time to do so. I can't say enough good things about E.R. "I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent retaining wall replacement project completed by John Krause Construction (JKC) at my property. After reading positive reviews and receiving an estimate that, although over my budget, seemed reasonable for the work involved, I made the decision to hire JKC. Unfortunately, this has proven to be a significant mistake, and I am left extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the overall experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Unprofessional Behavior: The crew exhibited unacceptable behavior while working on my property. Not only did I witness them disposing of bodily fluids on-site, but they were also disrespectful and dismissive. when I raised concerns no response was received. I now smell urine when entering and exiting my garage. 2. Unresponsive Ownership: I have attempted to reach out to the owner multiple times to address these concerns and resolve the issues, but my messages have been met with silence. This lack of communication is incredibly frustrating and has only added to my disappointment. The owner refused to speak on the phone since the owner was made aware of the call being recorded. 3. Property Damage: During the construction process, my property was left damaged in multiple areas. This included e.g., landscaping destruction, equipment damage. Personal crew members vehicles being driven through my yard leaving deep tire marks damage. 4. Subpar Quality of Work: Despite the high cost of the project, the final result does not meet the standards outlined in the estimate or contract. No proper grading was completed. Every time it rains pools of water sits in front and behind the wall. The response received was. “we have passed all inspections.  There will be some water pooling while it is settling still. Plus the fact of the hard rain today, it will happen.” The wall has been completed for 2 months. Given the extensive problems, stress and anxiety I have faced. I do not recommend John Krause Construction."

"Extremely disappointed with this company. They do not stand by their guarantees. Did install shower in one day. Was not provided with the shower head I ordered. Calking and trim work was very sloppy. Went through the shower wall into my bedroom, did sparkle wall and left it. Shower doors have leaked and was finally told six months later that there is nothing they can do to correct the issue. Originally quoted $24,000.00 for the walk on shower, eventually agreed to $11,500.00. Completely dissatisfied with my shower. Once they get their payment, they are done."

"The work progressed on time by two excellent associates who were very capable in painting, but also in hanging patio doors. Their painting job was done very meticulously and the house looks clean and great! Giorgio also arranged for a plumbing contractor to replace leaky faucets to facilitate power-washing the walls outsi before painting. I feel that I got good value for the money."

"While I appreciate the company's attempt to rectify initial issues, our overall experience with this solar installation was unfortunately very unprofessional. The initial installation team demonstrated a lack of respect for our property, damaging plants, leaving debris (including an orange cone), and inappropriately using our private bathroom despite a readily available public restroom on the premises. Following my initial negative review, the company offered a Home Depot gift card as compensation, which wasn't particularly useful to us. They also offered to address some unrelated roof repairs they noticed, but I questioned why these weren't addressed during the original solar installation. Scheduling follow-up work proved equally frustrating. An appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, but the crew arrived a day early on Tuesday without prior communication. While I appreciated them attempting to complete the work ahead of schedule, they left the roof partially finished overnight, exposed to potential weather damage. Furthermore, the crew damaged another plant box during the Tuesday work and continued noisy work – including banging on the roof – until 8:30 PM on Wednesday, violating DC noise ordinances that typically require work to conclude by 7:30 PM. This put us at risk of a city violation. Throughout the entire process, communication was poor and the lack of consideration for our property and local regulations was deeply concerning. While I appreciate the attempt to make things right, the experience was ultimately not ideal and left us feeling very dissatisfied."
