Exterior Medics

Spent ~$50,000 on a new roof with them. Thought everything went well. Years later discovered that they had not sealed the cricket on the chimney well enough. Discovered water coming in and eventually rotting the wallboard, studs, etc. Had to replace entire wall. Called them about the issue, they sent a rep. He said it was the chimney's fault, it was leaking. Not so, opened the wall and ceiling and had another roofer come spray water on the chimney, nothing, no leak. Then sprayed water on the cricket, water came in. Exterior Medics would not admit any fault. Had it repaired, no leak, no problem since then. Had recommended to a friend, never gain, he also had a bad experience. DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK AND A COMPANY HAT STANDS BEHIND THEIR WORK.

The work was ultimately fine, but first they were using the incorrect mortar. It took 4 months to do weeklong job. I needed a mortar with a higher lime concentration due to the age of my house, and they were using the wrong kind. Then they misdiagnosed my issue to the tune of 20k. After realizing this, they wouldn't work with me to accept part of the financial liability for the misdiagnosis.

Everything went very smoothly and efficently from start to finish. I met with Tom Green and explained what I was interested in and he provided me with a quote for installing a new GAF Timberline UHDZ roof. After getting HOA approval, I coordinated with Exterior Medics on when the work could be started. The group of roofers I had worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves very well. I am very pleased with the results, and I would highly recommend Exterior Medics!

Warning: Do not use Exterior Medics for any projects! We contacted Exterior Medics to replace our front door, screen door, pediment, header and pilasters. We signed a contract and gave them a deposit in December 2022. We were told our project would be completed in March 2023. I contacted EM in April 2023 to find out what happened. Unfortunately, the project manager assigned to the job quit and they forgot about our project. At this point I wanted to cancel and get my deposit back. The salesman reassured me everything would be ordered and the work would be done within a month. They finally scheduled the appointment in July 2023. When the team showed up, I was informed the pilasters were damaged and they would have to reorder them. I asked to inspect all the other parts, but I was told “no”, I could inspect them after the installation. I should’ve known better. Unfortunately, EM ordered the wrong color trim and no header for my pediment. I was furious, it looked horrible! The PM and salesman came out to inspect and I was told it would be fixed. Fast forward, they fixed it by putting up 2 by 4 to fix the problem, this is not what we order and it looks terrible. We have missing pieces and no date for installation. Here we are in October 2023 and I am still waiting for them to fix and finish the job. The project manager has quit and I’m assigned a new one. EM came out again, unfortunately this time all the parts ordered were the incorrect size or color. I now have to go through the whole process of ordering and waiting months for the parts to come in. I believe EM is inexperienced in work when it comes to this type of project. I have reached out multiple times to the owners of the company, they don’t return my calls and I have no date when the project will be completed. Do not use this company, they are awful.

I am a repeat customer and am very happy with their services. From the first call to customer service all the way through to the completion of the product is a smooth and professional process. Their pricing is competitive, and they may not always be the lowest bid, but the quality of their service is worth it.

Exterior Medics did an outstanding job replacing two sets of doors and storm doors in our home. The doors are wonderful and the team was highly professional and great to work with.

Only company to response to request, through Angi referral service, to do some exterior repairs to my house that included repointing front walkway/back patio, replacing prefabricated concrete front of the house windowsills, and repair to Trek Deck railing damage by hit from golf balls. The knowledge and attention to detailed of the entire Exterior Medics team, from sales, project managers, project inspector, and project administrators was outstanding. Was very impressed with contract document and level detail. Very satisfied with timeless that Exterior Medics team provided, from the initial contact with Sales team, contract proposal and start/completion of project was just over 2 months. Would hire External Medics again.

We had a good experience. Exterior Medics was referred to us by an interior carpenter that we’ve used several times. Although it took awhile for our work to begin we were kept informed by Ben and Steve of approximate start dates and any delays because of weather or materials. The work was done to our expectations, carefully supervised by Steve, and the workers kept the area clean when not working.

They are extremely responsive and have a great team. We did not ultimately hire them for the roof repair due to the cost and how far they were scheduled out.

From the very beginning we were impressed by the personal attention given to us about our project. We felt as though we were dealing with an old friend who was more interested in doing a job right rather than pressing us to purchase the most expensive package available. He was always available to answer any questions we had or would come by multiple times to be sure we were pleased. The crew also was very attentive to making sure we were pleased with the progress. It truly felt as if it was family and they wanted to do there best. Not at all like it's just a job and let's get done asap. With covid management had many delays due to unavailable product, however they kept us informed, made adjustments to fulfill the requirements and also made us feel at ease we had made the right choice in companies. I suggest that you value your peace of mind that a company cares that you are happy with their work. That's why we would recommend Exteriormedics to anyone about to make an investment in their home.We feel we made the right choice and so should you.

No brick replacing but did a great job cleaning and pointing. To pricey for what was done.

Work was performed on schedule for exact price quoted. Work crew was careful, professional and pleasant and left the site clean. This large project was well managed and I was kept informed of weather related schedule adjustments. I am confident this project was performed to produce a superior finished product and that it will provide years of trouble-free service backed by Exterior Medics' warranty support that I have seen in action on neighbor's homes. I believe I paid a premium price and received a superior finished product!

We worked with Yong to get an estimate to have existing polls on our home wrapped with aluminum. While at our home, inspected the polls, roof, and siding. We were provided with details and pictures about all the areas he inspected. We ended up having only the polls wrapped. We couldn’t be happier with the attention and quick responses. He was able to set up a great team of guys to work on our house. The polls look amazing!

Exterior Medics did an excellent job on our new roof. The were very professional. We had a great experience from the start of the sales process with Yong Hwang, and throughout installation and inspection. Pricing was competitive and fair compared to other roofing company quotes. Everything was done in one day and they cleaned up everything afterwards. They were also very considerate of protecting our outdoor plants and A/C unit. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services.

I worked with Yong to get an estimate to replace an exterior section of brick veneer with a window. They ran into unexpected problems and additional damage once the Team tore down the wall but they gave me options, and I switched to siding instead of real brick. Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome and how it looks. I would use them again, and I hope we can strike a good deal on a new roof when I'm ready.

Ron came out to assess the condition of my roof. He didn’t try to sell me a new roof or even some pricey repairs. He climbed up and removed a branch that was growing under some shingles at the edge, checked for damage, then looked in the attic (and sent me photos and video) and in a room where I was worried about a possible leak — and he didn’t charge me for anything. He gave me a reasonable ballpark estimate for a new roof, but without any pressure to replace it now. I plan to call him for that in a few years.

Other than a slight delay in in getting the materials, the project went well. The folks at Exterior Medics were professional and courteous. I would use them again!

Project was excellent from the assessment to the bid to job completion. I was really pleased with the thoroughness given over to the inspection, the explanation of the proposed solution, and then the execution. Our project was a roof repair that required a little sleuthing. Water was coming in a window, but it was from far above on the roof. While there was a change order once the team had stripped off the shingles to find more water damage than expected - their willingness to fix something that was invisible during the original inspection gave me confidence that they were trying to do what was right.

They were punctual, professional and left the work area cleaner than they found it. I was very pleased with their follow up and work.

The Exterior Medics team did an outstanding job of replacing our exterior door. Our project was non-standard, and they collaborated as a team to deliver an excellent outcome for us. They're outstanding in communications and highly responsive. We'll have them back for our next project.

Workers came as scheduled. Completed the repair, inspected their work and left. Have had 2 rain storms since then and no more leaks in attic.
