The K-rod painters were all extremely professional, arriving on time every day and leaving after a long day's work. They cleaned up after themselves each day, putting their materials away neatly and vacuuming away dust and debris. As each room was started, the team made sure to cover the floors, windows and door openings etc. in order to minimize dust and prevent spills etc. Each room was then properly sanded, caulked and prepared. The team then painted ceilings and trim by hand before moving to the wall colors. Several coats of excellent paint were applied, before final touch-ups were made.

The team also stained the ceiling of my portico, and the newly installed stair rails and stair trim. During the staining process, I expressed some concern about the color of the stain (which my GC had selected). I thought it was coming out too dark. The K-rod manager changed his clothes and took over the job personally. He sanded and refinished the rails and treads to my satisfaction without a word of complaint.

Now that the job is completed, I am extremely pleased with the results. Their work is excellent, and they are a professional and courteous team. I will use them again and I have no hesitations about recommending them to anyone...

Paul checked in with questions along the way that showed how conscientious he is— from painting an exterior AC unit (an eyesore previously) to the exterior foundational wall color selection and even removing gunk around a basement window— he took his time and the work was thorough and beautiful. We requested that he strip paint from one of the columns holding up our deck to match the other columns and the result is amazing— looks exactly like the others. "We researched for exterior painters on Angi’s List; Home Advisor and also looked through google reviews as well. There are a lot of painters out there, but we did narrow it down to five and obtained estimates from all. We selected Pete of Premier Painting and so happy we did. From the beginning he was timely with his follow up to our calls/emails; he provided an initial estimate based on information and photos and then met with us to do a more detailed estimate (which didn’t change, except for additional items that we decided to include). His estimate was competitive and we just had a “good feeling” that he would be the right fit for us and based on reviews, a good painter. Although we were initially going to be scheduled for Spring of 2022, at the last minute Pete had an opening in the schedule for the end of this season and began in September. His work is great; he sprayed and brushed our home and when he sprayed he back brushed for complete coverage; he is neat; cleans up each day; is organized in his approach on how and what he painted so as the front was done first both trim and body so from the road it looked complete. During the course of his being here, we ended up making some changes in terms of stain treatment for our deck, which resulted in more sanding; adding an item or two and he has always been professional and agreeable. In addition to painting the entire exterior - our deck balusters were all stained brown and he is painting them all white - pretty labor intensive but the finished product is just what we hoped for. For various reasons he ended up painting our home by himself and he is here every day - 6 days a week, weather permitting; is communicative if he won’t be here for weather related reasons - and he even returned our dog when he was leaving and found her down the road. "Perfect. This was not a typical job. Normally painters paint flat surfaces. This job was to paint (stain) 62 6-sided boards installed as a pergola. I tried to do it myself but only did 4 boards before I gave up and called Target Painting. (Another company refused the job.) Gene was great, as well as all the crew. At one point, one of the painters went up on the roof to monitor the progress and inspect the hard-to-reach places. Everything was great, including the cleanup."
