The K-rod painters were all extremely professional, arriving on time every day and leaving after a long day's work. They cleaned up after themselves each day, putting their materials away neatly and vacuuming away dust and debris. As each room was started, the team made sure to cover the floors, windows and door openings etc. in order to minimize dust and prevent spills etc. Each room was then properly sanded, caulked and prepared. The team then painted ceilings and trim by hand before moving to the wall colors. Several coats of excellent paint were applied, before final touch-ups were made.

The team also stained the ceiling of my portico, and the newly installed stair rails and stair trim. During the staining process, I expressed some concern about the color of the stain (which my GC had selected). I thought it was coming out too dark. The K-rod manager changed his clothes and took over the job personally. He sanded and refinished the rails and treads to my satisfaction without a word of complaint.

Now that the job is completed, I am extremely pleased with the results. Their work is excellent, and they are a professional and courteous team. I will use them again and I have no hesitations about recommending them to anyone...

"I had some minor carpentry work done along with the exterior of my house (including trim, gutters and downspouts, shutters and garage door) and an inside wall in my house that needed to be muddied, primed and then painted. The exterior included power washing the house and caulking every area that needed caulking and that was extensive. I can only repeat all the 5 star reviews and if I could give Ozy and his crew more stars I would. When I called to have Ozy come to my house for an estimate he showed up exactly on time the date that we set (something I've found doesn't happen on too many occassions!), sent me an estimate exactly on the date he said he would (which again doesn't always happen) and his price was extremely fair and I hired him. He and his crew did an OUTSTANDING job and like Gregory said, went beyond our expectations. Ozy has a great eye for detail and doing things that I didn't see that needed to be done but did. Our house was done in 3 days and each day they left the house one would never know workman had been there. He also helped my boyfriend install a curtain rod that my boyfriend couldn't have done on his own, at no extra charge even though it took almost another hour of his and his associates time. Working with just one other person, Erivan always arrives on time, cleans up the space at the end of the day, and does outstanding work. "I can’t say enough about them, pleasant polite professional! They left their boots by the front door as to not track in and out, everything was carefully protected. They did a beautiful job our space looks so fresh and updated. We had a hard time nailing down a date initially, they were pretty busy when we contacted them for a time frame, but we didn’t have a specific date in mind and it didn’t matter to us when the project got started so to us it didn’t matter. They don’t have a giant crew which means you can trust in their work and not worry about subcontractors doing the actual work. They sent us large format paint samples from our top three choices which really helped narrow down the color and not have to rely on those tiny paint swatches from the hardware store. I’ve never hired anyone to paint before, but this job was just too much for me to tackle, they came in and got it done in one day. From the initial consult and quote, to the painting guys, we couldn’t be happier. Our quoted contract was clearly defined and the price remained the same, they even separated a secondary quote for some bathroom and ceiling work to be done at a later date. They delivered on their exact word. They even left us the leftover paint for down the road touch ups. We will most certainly be calling them again. One thing worth mentioning was our contract did say they would move necessary furniture to accommodate the painting but we decided to just move everything ourselves the night before so they could just get right to it. We’re able to move stuff around so we just got the spaces extra ready so they wouldn’t have to deal with shuffling furniture around when they got there."
