"Gene Came out of July 15th to give us a quote on initially repairing our rear deck, After a detailed quote we decided to hire Target because of the upfront estimate was very well detailed and we did not want to have additional costs/change orders because we were working on a budget.
The job was completed in a timely manner, the building inspector actually completed the carpenters on their work on the inspection, I was really surprised to see that, (we had previous contractors fail other building inspections due to poor craftsmanship).
They also painted our house and stained our decks/porches. Very nice and clean crew, Fabiano was the crew leader and he was here everyday, I felt good having a point of contact.

"I have used 4 painting companies over the years including a national well known chain, NONE were ever as good as Costa Painting!! Details, details, details thatâ s what Costa excels at. Their crew were professional, polite and just HARD WORKERS! Nothing was beyond their capabilities. "Excellent communication throughout, Ozzy and his painter (Gustavo) went above and beyond. You know that feeling where you glance at a contractor or serviceperson and see them paying attention to a detail that most would rush through? That happened regularly on this project (working for a long time on a stubborn stain with a power washer, slowly cutting in to paint perfectly, repairing a birdhouse unprompted!). Price was very reasonable and we couldn't be happier. This kind of service is (sadly) very rare these days. A true gem."

"Dennyâ  s and his team were punctual, hardworking, clean and pleasant. I'm taking a star off because of an issue with the stain process. Dennyâ  s likes to understand what I wanted as a client and gave options and opinions. His successful past works speak for him. I was happy with the work this team did on my deck overall, framing and boarding. The issue I have is with Staining. I purchased the oil stain and he applied it, however it rained within 2 hours pretty much the whole afternoon and night (July 29, 2021), and that cannot be good for the stain and deck I would imagine. I would have expected DC to be responsible, check the rain forecast and advice me to hold off on the staining until a good 3 day shine or weeks later when the weather is a bit more predictable. The way he decided to stain it knowing the clouds are glooming was not professional in my mind, and he shouldn't have rushed into just to complete a project. I'm fine with deferring an incomplete step in the project if he had advised me. I have contacted DC so he can propose what to do about this (re-sand it and re-stain it ideally), still waiting his response, if not, I will contact Angi for mediating."

The K-rod painters were all extremely professional, arriving on time every day and leaving after a long day's work. They cleaned up after themselves each day, putting their materials away neatly and vacuuming away dust and debris. As each room was started, the team made sure to cover the floors, windows and door openings etc. in order to minimize dust and prevent spills etc. Each room was then properly sanded, caulked and prepared. The team then painted ceilings and trim by hand before moving to the wall colors. Several coats of excellent paint were applied, before final touch-ups were made.

The team also stained the ceiling of my portico, and the newly installed stair rails and stair trim. During the staining process, I expressed some concern about the color of the stain (which my GC had selected). I thought it was coming out too dark. The K-rod manager changed his clothes and took over the job personally. He sanded and refinished the rails and treads to my satisfaction without a word of complaint.

Now that the job is completed, I am extremely pleased with the results. Their work is excellent, and they are a professional and courteous team. I will use them again and I have no hesitations about recommending them to anyone...
