We usually do all of our hedge abs shrub trimming ourselves, but with a few other projects going on we hadn’t gotten them all season long and they were seriously overgrown. Since we COULD do it ourselves, we had a limit on what we were willing to pay, so we were getting several quotes … most of which were higher than we had hoped. Roberto worked with us on the pricing, which was good news because now it was off of our plate! His crew was there the early next day … fast, friendly, courteous, conscientious and neat! We are now looking to have Roberto and his crew back to take a few more projects off of our plate too! "There were many projects to be completed at my deceased mother's house. Because I am disabled and not able to get to the property, I couldn't see how badly I was taken advantage of. Not only did I pay for a job they did not do, I also paid for another job that is unfinished, plus a french drain that is causing a sink hole, and the buried equipment is now above ground. All 3 of these projects pose safety risks. The french drain collapse is only 6 months after installation. After bringing these issues to the owners attention (the unfinished project I'd requested be completed for months), the owner began ignoring me. When I mentioned that litigation was going to move forward, the owner said he'd look at the work that week then blew me off again. When they actually do work, Golden Hill's quality of work is awful. Be prepared to pay someone else to fix the work, if they even do it."
