The two technicians who performed the work were very professional and worked hard to overcome some unforeseen installation difficulties. From my initial e-mail to the installation of the cap, Chimney Chap was very responsive. Meanwhile, some other companies I contacted were unresponsive and less interested in performing a small installation project. "These guys cared! through any obstacle that occurred a solution was quickly found to satisfy all!! Clean neat and respectful must be the motto of 5 Star. I highly recommend Jeff and his guy Sean. I had a chimney liner installed in my older home and they took care to leave it better than they found it. Some pointing was done as well at the top of the chimney that needed fix. I now look up with pride once again knowing the guys set me up for the next season change !"

"Installation went fine until I noticed several weeks later that it was harder to keep house warm and there was significant draft by the woodstove insert. I went outside and looked at the chimney cap installed by Kevin Fredrickson and noticed it was off center of the chimney and the base of the cap was only covering 2/3rds of the opening and no insulation was placed around the liner so heat was funneling right up the chimney and outside.  I contacted Kevin and he responded within a few days and agreed to take a look.  When he arrived he didn't have the tools or ability to fix the cap due to snow so he stuffed insulation around the chimney liner from inside the house to keep the drafts down and stated he would be back in spring to fix the cap.  As of June 1, 2015 he hadn't contacted me or arrived to fix the cap so I tried to contact Kevin Fredrickson but got no response.  As of 10/9/2015  (the date of this review) Kevin had not contacted me or made any attempts to properly attach the chimney cap installed by Integrity Chimney Services LLC.

On Friday October 16, 2015 Kevin stopped by and properly attached chimney cap to chimney and corrected the issue."

"These guys did an outstanding job.  Prompt, professional, honest, friendly, kept a neat work site, beautiful work and had an excellent price.  My house was built in 1906 and the old chimney above the roofline was in pretty rough shape - ready to come down.  I had four different companies that I found on Angies List come over and give estimates.  Rich was the first person to come for an estimate and ultimately the one I chose.  His estimate was lower than the competition and gave a good first impression.  They came over a couple weeks later to do the rebuild and I couldn't be more pleased.  They were here for two days, always here when they said they would be and immediately set-up staging to demolish the old chimney.  The new chimney is beautiful - they used nice looking bricks and installed a nice cap.  It's a brand new chimney, but it looks like it's always been here.  I would highly recommend these guys.

"I could not be happier. Obviously, I have not climbed on top of my 3 story house to look close up, but even from the ground I can see that what was clearly a rickety chimney now looks, well, rock solid. The chimney cap is in place and it clearly looks like it's going to stand for a very long time. Ted called me within minutes of me doing the search on Angie's List, but since Rock Solid was one of the companies that came up with an A rating and excellent reviews, and since he could come out very quickly, I decided to see what he said. Time frame was important here, since you could see the sky through the gaps between the bricks of the chimney, and we have solar panels near by. If a brick fell it could damage a solar panel and that would be very bad. In fact, Ted said that the best course would be to rebuild the chimney entirely, but given the solar panels he wouldn't want to take the chance. It looked rebuilt when they left today. He gave me the estimate on Tuesday and was able to make it here on Friday (today.) He *did* tell me he wasn't a morning person and wouldn't be out early, but I didn't need to be here so long as they had access to water and electricity. Well, I don't know when they arrived because I didn't hear a thing. Just when I went out I saw the ladder. They were done by 4pm and everything looked beautiful. The ground underneath was perfectly clean. I gave him a check and now I've got a fully repaired chimney that isn't going to fall down. All good! Much happiness all around. I certainly recommend Rock Solid Chimney."

"Michael was very knowledgeable about what we needed to do for the chimney of our 1915 built house. His inspection showed that we did not need to have the chimney swept and did not need a new liner. His service in fabricating the cap and installing it was excellent. I would recommend him to others."

"Adail of AAB Roofing and his team did an outstanding job on my roof, including chimney tuck pointing, chimney caps, chimney sealing, skylight replacement, some siding work, and a new roof on our old Victorian home. I did extensive research on roofing and roofing companies, and AAB had the best value. They were not the least expensive overall proposal, but that is because they used ALL top of the line materials...the best ice and water shield, the best shingles, the best ridge vents. When I had other roofers rebid using the same top materials, so I had an apples to apples fair comparison, they were more expensive than AAB. Adail is a joy to work with, and a man of his word.
