"My chimney had been undergoing a slow transformation over the past several years, from chimney to Pez dispenser. Three out of four sides had rusted away on the chimney cap and the remaining side was doing a good job as a hinge in high enough winds. Enough was enough. Time to call a professional. Scheduling was effortless and they were able to send out a technician within a couple days. The technician (Bobby) arrived on time and was both easy going and professional in his approach to a job that was not apparently as cut and dry as it looked. In the end, the innovative work (due to irregular initial craftsmanship on the chimney) Bobby did looked significantly better that the material (my chimney remnants) he had to work with. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend Master Chimney Sweepers."

"They first came out to do a routine check and informed us of what we should / needed to do to have our fire place perform better. The quote they provided was very reasonable. We decided to install a rain cap after the sweep and getting an appointment was very easy. The technician arrived early and completed the work quickly."

"These guys cared! through any obstacle that occurred a solution was quickly found to satisfy all!! Clean neat and respectful must be the motto of 5 Star. I highly recommend Jeff and his guy Sean. I had a chimney liner installed in my older home and they took care to leave it better than they found it. Some pointing was done as well at the top of the chimney that needed fix. I now look up with pride once again knowing the guys set me up for the next season change !"

"Professional work by Kevin Fredrickson, the owner. He was knowledgeable and explained the issues with our chimney. He offered reasonable fixes at a reasonable price and explained why he was doing the work he suggested.
He arrived on time in the early morning, and worked straight through the day. Got up on the roof to check things out and told me what he had found. Came inside to look at the chimney from that angle. He inserted a stainless liner, and recommended a rain cap to help protect the chimney. He went about his business knowing exactly what needed attention. He cleaned up after himself when he was done.
Very pleasant guy, nice chatting with him. If I ever had a need for brick work, I would call him.
It's nice to know the chimney is in good condition and safe now.

"They did a GREAT job! They first ran into permit problems in Brookline, but Rich (?) was able to fix that and didn't charge me extra. Then on the day of the work, they showed up and worked through to the next day and removed the whole chimney from the inside without making a dent in the house. I was MOST impressed with this as I have 2 small children so dust is a big deal to me. Since they are so prompt and efficiently, i was able to coordinate with my roofer to come in on the same day to seal up the roof. At the end of the day, you couldn't even tell that someone had removed a chimney just minutes before. Highly recommended!

"Michael was very knowledgeable about what we needed to do for the chimney of our 1915 built house. His inspection showed that we did not need to have the chimney swept and did not need a new liner. "While the water stains appeared in the same exact spot, Fabio claimed it was my roof that needed to replaced not the flash this time. He wouldn't accept responsibility and left convinced that it was the roof. I got a second opinion, the second roofer said the flash had been wrapped too tight, and did not go high enough up the chimney. He also suggested that I get a cover for the chimney. The second guy did me a solid and caulked the chimney to prevent further water damage temporarily but it will eventually need to be done over again. Fabio refused to accept responsibility and a year and half later, I will have to do the job all over again. Very disappointing..."

Our recent urgent necessity to replace our boiler heating system exposed the need for chimney repairs for the efficiency and safety of the new furnace system. Jamie from Certified Chimney fully diagnosed the issues and had numerous pictures taken to document the problems. His explanation was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Jamie answered all our questions in a courteous and helpful manner. In communicating with the main office, Jamie worked with George to secure financing for the urgently needed repairs. The chimney liner, cap and masonry work were exceptionally done. Clean up of the roof and yard was above expectations.
