Two days later I had a shiny new boiler running perfectly. Not only does Joe do the boiler install to perfection he handles everything. Removal, install, plumbing, electrical. He even had an oil burner tech come out to tune the burner so that it achieves the highest-possible efficiency. Would I recommend Joe? Let me tell you something, I could not recommend anyone more highly. I am already looking for more jobs I can have him do so get him while you can. "The service tech arrived a few minutes after the end of their arrival window. Reception did call to notify a slight delay. No big deal here. We reviewed the steps I took and after some preliminary inspection the tech revisited the system bleed. No air this time. It happens the boiler in question is a Burnham Revolution, notorious for various cryptic failures. We were discussing the inevitable replacement option when he homed in on the primary loop pump motor again and realized it was locked up. It had everyone fooled as it was vibrating as if it was operable, but hot a Hades due to the frozen prop shaft. This gig would probably have summed up @$600 but for the tricky diagnosis and my loquacious tendencies. At least I know who to call when I'm ready for that replacement/expansion."
