Joe, the AirCo sales representative, was very professional. He actually asked for my feedback on priorities for a new boiler. This was important to me because the boiler sits below our family room, and the noise level of the boiler was as issue. His proposals listed several boiler options, based on heating efficiency, which were competitively priced. The installation was run by Steve, who was able to fit in the installation the next week. Steve, and his crews, were punctual and courteous, and the installation went smoothly. It's only been a week, but I am very pleased with my Bosch boiler, the quality of the work, the price paid, and the timeliness of the installation.

The project went well. There were some leaks after the initial installation, but these were fixed before any damage was done to the ceiling and wood flooring.

Airco is a great family-owned and operated business, very fair and knowledgeable. They replaced our forced air central heating system (oil) in a day, and were quick to respond and get to work despite how busy things were during the January cold-spell. I would highly recommend for your heating and cooling needs!

They were responsive and showed on on time and on schedule. Engineering and installation was top notch, and we've been using the system for the past two (summer) months and it's worked perfectly. The temperature and humidity is just right in every room of the house, including the basement level as they installed an air return there to keep the basement dehumidified. We had one problem with an electrical circuit during the installation and they came right back and fixed it. Would definitely recommend Airco highly.

I whole heartedly recommend Airco. Their team was experienced, skillful, friendly and professional throughout the duration of this job, from Joe's first visit to my home to discuss air conditioning options to Derek and Cam's final touches on the duct system. I had complete confidence in them, as well as in Steve, Danny, Frank and Patrick. Additionally, Airco's connections to MassSave and Commerce Bank meant financing and payment options to suit my budget. No more hauling loud and heavy window a.c. units up from the basement. Instead, I am enjoying consistent cooling throughout my home with no noise whatsoever. I am a very happy customer!

We installed a Fujitsu mini-split A/C and heat pump because installing duct work was not an option. The entire process from getting a quote to completing the installation couldn't have been any better. Joe went over the full scope of the project including the ramifications if any additional work was needed. I don't think one could find a better HVAC company than Airco!

It went well. Airco representatives explained how the work will be done, answered all our questions. They worked nicely and quickly. Very neatly. Accommodated all our needs.  The work was done on time. No delays. They are real professionals.  Great job! Well done!

I looked at a number of different options and they had the best pricing and they also specialize in just doing central air. So they were also sort of a plumber and gas fitter, anything like that, and so they really specialized in what I was looking for. So that is sort of their core business. They were good and they did a very nice, clean job. The house was built in 1901 and so they did a great job of removing the old radiators and radiant based heat systems and replacing it with a new central air set up.

Overall, we are really pleased with the system Airco installed, and the value was outstanding.  Scheduling the install was a challenge.  Steve is a busy man, and we had to reschedule a lot.  Have faith - it will happen.  But when his crew was there, they did great work and were very smart about how to place the ducts in our house.  It was a challenge because it's an older structure that is both framed and post and beam, with a partially finished attic.  They got the entire house cooled without having to put in a single soffet.  The system is working great, and Airco's bid was substantially less than the other two we got.

Joe explained various options (models, efficiency rating, attic vs. cellar installation, etc.) thoroughly, promptly followed through on my follow-up questions, and prepared a detailed & accurate quote. He measured the size of the house and cold-air returns to ensure the system was sized properly. He is a patient guy & very pleasant to work with. Scheduling the installation was painless, the installers (Steve and his assistant Derek) started on time, and worked diligently & efficiently.
Everyone is very experienced and knowledgeable, and all clearly take pride in their work. They kept in excellent communication with me throughout the installation. They were respectful of my home, my concerns, my pets, etc.
They stand by what they sell, too. This winter, about 18 months after it was installed, my tankless hot water heater had a factory defect that caused it to shut off. Steve came the day I reported the problem, was on the phone with the manufacturer for hours to diagnose the issue, and came back twice more to finish the repair (3 visits might sound absurd, but it wasn't Airco's problem, it was the manufacturer's, as they were misdiagnosing the issue). The unit is now working perfectly thanks to Steve's persistence. A bonus: Airco charged me for only a small portion of Steve's time from his initial visit. They ate the cost of his additional visits! These guys are golden.

Things went very well. The sales process involved a home visit, discussion afterwards, and follow up by e-mail messages to determine what I needed in general, what I wanted in detail, the price, and understanding about rebates. Everything was clear, up front, and complete (for example, no additional costs showed up later). Airco was patient with me and spoke at my level. Their schedule was busy and there were a couple of misses before the installation date was agreed to. It was met without being changed by them. The installer was professional and courteous and put up well with my questions. The installation was done well in the proscribed time. Old stuff was carted away and clean up was done before departure. The air conditioner and new thermostat have worked well. It has been too warm to give the furnace a significant shake down. Airco did their paperwork for rebates and supplied me with the information I needed in a timely manner. There were a few misses scheduling the QIV test, but it was done at the agreed upon time and date. Again, in a very satisfactory fashion. My overall impression is of good, honest people.

I had originally thought that a high velocity mini-duct central a/c system was the only option for my Victorian home with baseboard heating. But when Joe Carnevale from Airco explained the benefits of a multi-zone slim-duct system with concealed air handlers in the attic to cool the second and third floors and a conventional system tied to existing (unused) floor registers on the first floor, I was intrigued. After rebates and tax credits (which aren?t available for high velocity systems) the cost was extremely competitive and the fact that the system has four individually controlled zones means that I can adjust the cooling levels to keep operating costs lower. The installation was a little tricky as I asked (owner) Steve Duarte and his crew to run the refrigerant, electrical, and condensate lines through an unused chase to the second and third floors rather than affix a conduit to the outside of the house (which wouldn?t have been allowed due to my home?s historic designation.) The work was done efficiently and with practically no disruption to the day-to-day living that went on during the installation. The left the house and basement very clean. I have been very satisfied with the system?s performance during the several heat waves we?ve experienced this summer. All in all it was a very professional job from start to finish and I would highly recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone considering central air conditioning, and in particular to owners of older homes without existing ductwork.

The installers seemed to be quite knowledgeable and professional. They concentrated on doing the lob, were thorough and pleasant. They answered all questions to my satisfaction. Everything was done on time and all equipment and workers arrived on schedule. They were careful not to create any excess dust during the installation and did a good job of cleaning up when the work was done. In spite of the attic temperature being well over 80 degrees, they worked continuously and finished on schedule. I would recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone who is looking for a high quality, professional job. They demonstrated the technical knowledge and engineering capabilities to evaluate the job and to select the right equipment for my requirements, more so than several other providers were able to do. I was not looking for the least expensive job, but for the best engineering capabilities for a fairly large house with a good sized, north facing sun room and many windows.

Strange company. We sighned a contract with Arco but they had other people do the job. They failed to provide us the rebate forms and did not provide Insurance certificates on their subcontractors, They wouldn,t finish the punch list. We parted company.Arlington Mass

"This review is not accurate. The owner of Airco, Steve Duarte, performed the work himself. Customer has not paid the final balance due which far exceeds any rebates he is eligible for. Rebates are not processed until job is paid in full. We will attempt to contact the customer to resolve."

Steve Carnevale came and gave us a plan and an estimate for the job.
We then compared with two other contractors.
His price and his expertise was best.
We were quite satisfied with the installation service.
