Unlimited Removal and Demolition - to drain, cut up, & remove old oil tank; abate asbestos from, and remove, old boiler; remove oil filler pipes & patch foundation with cement 2. Boxford Chimney Sweep - to run a new flue liner and install a new stainless steel chimney cap We hired J.Griffin Heating & Plumbing to disconnect an ancient "snowman-style" oil-fueled steam boiler with attached "instant" water heater, and replace it with a gas boiler & free-standing gas water heater. Fast. Efficient. Clean. Pleasant & willing to answer all of our questions. All 3 companies provided very high quality experiences! I would hire any/all of them again. "The installers seemed to be quite knowledgeable and professional. They concentrated on doing the lob, were thorough and pleasant. They answered all questions to my satisfaction. Everything was done on time and all equipment and workers arrived on schedule. They were careful not to create any excess dust during the installation and did a good job of cleaning up when the work was done. In spite of the attic temperature being well over 80 degrees, they worked continuously and finished on schedule. One valve was installed such that it was impossible to connect to it.

Technician mistakenly took my drill but returned it with apologies.  Also forgot one of his special tools at my house which was a hassle getting back to him.

His bid for the work was in line with other bids for the same system, but he took care of every aspect of the job (Oil tank removal, arranging electrical work, inspections, cement repair, additional thermostat, etc..)
