Boxford Chimney Sweep - to run a new flue liner and install a new stainless steel chimney cap We hired J.Griffin Heating & Plumbing to disconnect an ancient "snowman-style" oil-fueled steam boiler with attached "instant" water heater, and replace it with a gas boiler & free-standing gas water heater. Fast. Efficient. Clean. Pleasant & willing to answer all of our questions. All 3 companies provided very high quality experiences! I would hire any/all of them again. "The installers seemed to be quite knowledgeable and professional. They concentrated on doing the lob, were thorough and pleasant. They answered all questions to my satisfaction. Everything was done on time and all equipment and workers arrived on schedule. They were careful not to create any excess dust during the installation and did a good job of cleaning up when the work was done. In spite of the attic temperature being well over 80 degrees, they worked continuously and finished on schedule. I would recommend Airco Home Comfort Services to anyone who is looking for a high quality, professional job. They demonstrated the technical knowledge and engineering capabilities to evaluate the job and to select the right equipment for my requirements, more so than several other providers were able to do. I was not looking for the least expensive job, but for the best engineering capabilities for a fairly large house with a good sized, north facing sun room and many windows.

One valve was installed such that it was impossible to connect to it.

Technician mistakenly took my drill but returned it with apologies.  Also forgot one of his special tools at my house which was a hassle getting back to him.

After I requested an estimate, I got a quick call from the office to schedule a time for one of their comfort advisors to come out to our home. Sam, my comfort advisor was very knowledgeable, and I appreciated his low pressure presentation. Once the work was booked, because our installation was complex, Joe came out and came up with a plan to vent the exhaust on the side of my house to minimize the number of pipes on the front of my house. The installation went very well, and they installed a temporary water heater so we were only without hot water for less than a day.
