How could we not, as he was the most thorough and well prepared. (When he showed up -- on time -- for an inspection, he was clutching a copy of his insurance certificate, saying, "Well, I'm gonna be going up on your roof.") He showed us via copious photos what exactly needed to be done and how his crew would accomplish it. The crew was super friendly and funny, and took great pains to minimize messes. The end result? "I originally bought an Angieslist deal for a roof inspection and repair credit.  Wesley Pluta contacted me very quickly after I bought the deal.  We had some water infiltration in January due to an ice dam, and I suspected one area of the roof needed some attention.  So when Wesley came out, we looked at the roof together and decided upon a course of action that included looking under the shingles at the flashing in a couple different areas.  The work was done by one of his guys a few weeks later.  One area of flashing around a chimney needed to be replaced.  The work was completed pretty quickly.  I am assuming that this should take care of the problem should we encounter ice dams in the future, but won't really know until that happens.  His work, of course, comes with a guarantee, so I'm sure if there is a problem he will fix it.  He was very responsive to my emails over the course of the time it took to get the work completed.  I also received a quote for siding replacement from him.  We aren't doing that work right now, but it's nice to have.

"I called North Shore Chimney to get a second opinion on some work that was recommended by another chimney company. The technician who came out was very polite and knowledgeable. He informed me that some of the work being quoted by the other company was not necessary, and the prices north shore chimney quoted were much better. They were able to replace some of the bricks with a perfect match. The others were neatly repaired (can't even see where). I will have them back to do our chimney repairs.
