"We had a terrific experience with M&L Remodeling. From start to finish they were punctual, responsive, and efficient. Matt’s crew, led by John, were such hard workers, clocking in at 7 each morning and leaving at 5, plus half day on Saturday. The original time estimate was 6-8 weeks and the project was completed in 6. Matt was always available via text or phone for questions. We had already designed the floor plan of the new space so that was helpful in determining what the project would entail and we really got everything we had envisioned. I would highly recommend this company for any remodeling work. The work done included demolition of a small powder room, removal of a cast iron laundry tub, old galvanized steel piping, old electrical conduit and one short wall. Following that, a few small cracks in the walls were sealed and the entire foundation was painted with dry-lock waterproofing paint. Then framing of walls and ceiling for drywall, followed by plumbing and ejector pit installation, bath fixtures, shower, tile and flooring, electrical work, drywall of ceilings and walls, doors and trim installed, new glass block windows, new vinyl on stairs, painting of walls, doors and trim, baseboard heating, can lights and lighting fixtures, epoxy floor with vinyl chips throughout. We also had exhaust fans added in the bath, workshop and craft area which needed to vent through the exterior brick wall."

"Chicago Condo Concierge arrived at the agreed upon time, they were clear about what was included in their quote, when there was a slight change in what they needed to do, they immediately notified me and asked me to approve the change and also did not charge additional fees for the small change, which I was expecting after dealing with other contractors in the past. They cleaned up their work area and I really appreciate what they did."

"I am so pleased with the help that we received from American Carpet Distributors! We had a burst pipe in our basement that got our carpet and padding wet. We had to throw out the padding but managed to save the carpet. Larry responded so quickly and was so easy to work with. He stopped by the house the same day I called him and took measurements to replace the carpet padding. A couple days later he sent out a very friendly and hardworking crew to replace the padding and lay our old carpet on top. It looks and feels brand new. I am so pleased that he was so promp to help. I feel like he was so fair in his pricing and that he wasn't pushy to sell me things I didn't need. The other carpet companies I called would only do the job if I bought new carpet (which I didn't need) or had a high minimum job payment. Larry saw that we really needed our basement back to working order and quickly helped us get that back. I am very satisfied and grateful!"

"I asked before we started if they fix subfloor issues, they said yes. I then had them over to ask for a quote on replacing the floor and fixing subfloor issue especially in 2 spots, they said they would do it. they replaced the floors and did none of that. I just wasted thousands of dollar and will need to redo it. Do NOT hire these people, they do not care about your needs. Would give them negative stars if was possible"

"After purchasing our home, my wife and I decided to have maple wood floors installed in the bedrooms to match the rest of the house. We received three bids in an effort to keep everyone honest. Ismael was referred to us by our neighbor. From the beginning of the process, he was my favorite. He has a great personality but more importantly, he was the most knowledgeable and based on his assessment, I was confident he would produce the best work product. He actually predicted how the bidding process would play out. "I come out and give the estimate and I install the floors. They have a guy who will come out and estimate and someone else to install the floors. There will be miscommunication and problems with that. With me, no problems." Ismael could not have been more accurate. It was really frustrating and time consuming dealing with the other vendors just to obtain their bids! We paid a little more to work with Ismael but it was money well spent. My rationale was the benefit of paying a skilled craftsman to do the work correctly outweighed my time having to correct potential mishaps. We had such a great experience. Ismael and his crew were punctual, on budget and finished exactly when they said they would. They also revealed amazing attention to details--they identified and corrected a creek in a section of the floor and a stain that could not be sanded so they replaced that section of the floor. The floors turned out beautiful and we could not be happier. Ismael and his crew are consummate professionals! The best!"
