We hired AC Flooring (dealt with Adrienne) to repair a wood floor in our (finished) basement after a pipe burst this past winter. We were in a hurry since we were trying to sell our home. AC had installed new floors throughout when the house was purchased about 5 years ago. They had done a reasonable job, so we hired them again without getting any other bids. They put the new floor in quickly, and all seemed fine (besides some damage they did to the base board trim) until a few months later when the floor started to come apart. When I called them to come look at our floor again they suddenly became unresponsive. It took nearly 3 months of repeated calling, unanswered messages, missed appointments (on a six occasions), and repeated denials of responsibility on their part before they finally ended up repairing the floor. I had been open to the possibility that we still had water in our basement but upon inspection of the floor it was perfectly clear that it simply had not been installed properly. Even with that it was clear that Adrienne had no interest in making things right. He repeatedly made appointments with me and then either did not show up or call after the appointment time to say he had some other job he had to do. His disrespect for me and my time was infuriating. I strongly discourage anyone from hiring these people. Not only are they flakes but there work isn't that good.

AC Flooring came to business to temporarily repair the water damaged hardwood floor in our main room. We had 3 or 4 spots on floor that were raised enough to trip on. Upon removing one spot to see extent of damage, it was decided to stop there (after repairing that spot) to determine how to go forward. All parties agreed that the best way was to do a temporary repair on the remaining high spots and wait until enough time could be set aside to redo the entire floor. AC Flooring was to come back the following week to finish the repair and give an estimate for redoing the entire floor. Adrian, the AC Floor representative called the following week to inform us he was sick and would reschedule us for the following week. The following week they never showed up at the job site, never called and would not return repeated phone calls.

Overall the work came out OK, but a lot of corners were cut in the process. It is difficult to work with Adrian, the owner of this business because he is rarely on site and most of his workers speak only Polish. New cord-around was laid over the new hardwoods, but it was not stained or varnished to match the wood work, so it will have to be removed, stained, varnished, and reattached (by us). Adrian was also supposed to shave down all doors to accommodate the new flooring. He did shave some. One was not shaved adequately and so it scuffed the floor and had to be reshaved. One door never got shaved or rehung and now that Adrian has been paid, he refuses to return to finish the work. It started out well and we have been please with this company in the past, but based on this experience, we'll never use them again.

They did a nice job, we're satisfied. The cleaning could have been a little better, but their job is to make messes. Turned out better than I thought it would.

They did a good job. The area was 1500 square feet.

I called after work to get a date for an estimate and Cornell was about 45 minutes away and asked if he could come over that day. He came right on time, gave me the estimate that day and we set a date for them to come next Thursdays. He also warned me about all the previous owners' pet stains that we discovered after pulling the carpet off. He mentioned that the stain might be darker in those areas, so he suggested a darker stain. They were on time all 3 days and the floors came out beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! The tenant said she feels like she moved into a new apartment.

We were quoted $6000 for removal of tile and carpet on three floors and refinishing of hardwoods underneath. Flooring removal took longer than anticipated. Top floor was finished and looks amazing. Termite damage (no current activity) found on middle floor, some floor boards replaced. Middle floor was finished and looks amazing. More extensive water and termite damage found on bottom floor. Floor is yet unfinished while we get treatment for termites (no bugs actually found, but want to be safe) and water. Charge for work on two floors plus stairway and landing was $6700. Quote for finishing 1st floor including installation of all new hardwoods: an additional $6000.

They did a great job. We had a mix of different wood floors. We had some red oak, some maple and a wide plank pine floor. Even though they didn't think the maple and the pine would look as good, they still refinished the floors and made it look as good as it possibly could.

Adrian and his crew were always punctual, from the initial appointment for an estimate to when they began work. We had several estimates, and his price was fair, and we felt most comfortable with his company. There were several rooms that had slightly damaged maple boards, and softer, wide plank fir and pine. Adrian (as well as several other people we had in to do estimates) initially told us that they weren't worth saving. And although they don't look as perfect as the red oak floors that we have, we are very satisfied with how everything turned out, and appreciate that Adrian was able to understand and accommodate our wishes to keep the original wood floors in our 110-year-old house. The crew worked efficiently, and completed our lower apartment on a slight time crunch, which we really appreciated. The floors look amazing, and we will be having them back to do more work for us.

Adrian was on time and gave us an estimate on the spot. The price was good, and he seemed knowledgeable. The work was actually done by his partner and crew. Overall, they did an adequate job. They paid little attention to detail. The floors are good, but we had to point out many gaps and holes in the new woodwork that they had to come back and fix. Once fixed, it looks OK. They scraped up the paint on one wall and one ceiling (that had nothing to do with the stair installation) and then took no responsibility for it. We had to repaint these two areas to repair them. If you want perfection, this is not the company to hire.

They were prompt in returning my call, and coming to give me an estimate as well as scheduling the work. They forgot the baseboard and the contract on the morning to start the work, but we went ahead anyway. They ended up not installing the baseboards until after we were able to move back into our town home. However, it wasn't bad; although, I was getting nervous. The floors were beautiful and the baseboards turned out the same. The price was great. I hope they pay their hard workers well. I would definitely hire them again and tell my neighbors about them. However, our place speaks for itself.

Excellent service, and a very professional job. It was a difficult situation, where the tenants still lived in the unit, so the job had to be done in two shifts so that we could stack furniture in between. The price was better than others, and the crew was very flexible and stayed late to finish up.

They were great. They were really inexpensive. They were punctual and came when they said they would.

PERFECT--the work and price and clean-up far far exceeded our expectations. We saw their work at family's home--existing hardwood refinished--our best friends had their family room carpet removed and hardwood installed after seeing the work at our family's. We following Adrian's recommendations on material, finish, and type of installation. Great job, we returned to the job site as the crew was leaving expecting we would have to do a lot of clean-up--the floors shone and the work-site was immaculate.

They came on very short notice, did an excellent job leaving nothing for me to clean up, and were truly professional.

Work was done on time, under the estimated quote price, and with minimal dust. Company actually laid down a number of stain samples so we could pick the appropriate stain color.
