Home Carpet One was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I purchased carpet for a condo and Eddy Haddad was a pleasure to deal with and answered all my questions. The carpet installers couldn't have been more professional and when done cleaned everything up, including vacuuming the building hallway. I would definitely use them again

install was a complete fail. installer worked in slow motion; did not appear to be a pro installer. could not handle removing wood trim and replacing it afterwards. totally ruined the floor due to improper alignment of tiles; "arrows" on the back of the tiles must be followed for proper fit.  end result was "lippage". tiles have texture and need to lay smoothly at junctures. impossible to clean because of raised edges.  this was a disaster.
contacted the owner who automatically began to argue with me and deny everything. we hired our own expert for pro opinion, and presented this to owner.  they came out to view and told us it was a superior job and that we were "seeing things".
we hired an attorney to recover our money, as the floor needed to be replaced.  our attorney told us that the owner said "he hates us with a passion".  after months of back and forth with the owner, our attorney took a turn for the worse and could no longer represent us.  we ended up not pursuing it any further.
this was extremely draining on our family and the personal insults and harassment from home carpet took its toll. that was 2005. in the future we will not give up if any company ever tries to get away with this type of bullying behavior.

Karl was on time. Never offered any unnecessary extra service.answered all my qustions about carpet: rug maintenance. Service went well at its best. The Difference before and after was clearly visible and i am satisfied with it because i was going to replace my carpet if this does not work.

In this modern age of too many options for communications, Through email and voicemails I was able to get the installation coordinated for the first of September.  This is no easy feat given there are a lot of apartments turning over at this time, I was out of town some in August for some of the negotiation back and forth.  Mark, the sales guy, and Ben were able to coordinate everything I needed.  As to price, they have been competitive in the past, I did not shop them this time.

It went pretty smoothly. They were able to examine it quickly, establish we didn't need to replace the padding or carpet, and then to reseal where I had made cuts to pull it up.

So, I had just about completed
remodeling my office at work and the last thing that needed to be done, and the
one thing I knew I couldn?t do myself was to install new flooring. I contacted
Home Carpet One and consulted with what my best options would be for the space.
We decided on a commercial grade carpet and in no time they had it scheduled
and installed. The entire process was very easy and smooth. It?s funny because
prior to using them myself, I had often referred them because I know the owner.
I?ve never had a complaint. I?m still referring them and now it is even better
because I am one of their many, more than satisfied customers. Thank you Home
Carpet One.

Mark at Home Carpet One was great to work with for the tile and carpeting for my renovation.  Everything was explained well and they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.  So it went great!

They were very helpful as we picked out our carpet and worked with us closely on the date so it would be done before our second baby arrived. They did a great job installing, hiding seems and were in and out in one day.

From the first communication to the follow-up phone call after installation, Home Carpet One was excellent.  I was on a tight schedule with very little availability to meet in the space that was being re-carpeted.  Bruce, my contact, quickly scheduled a sight-visit with a guy who measured the space and brought a few samples based on my initial descriptions.  After measurements and carpet selection, we communicated on scheduling and within 10 days everything was installed and perfect!  I would choose Home Carpet One again in a heartbeat.  They were great!

The sales lady, Rosie Flores,  was very helpful in our selecting a runner for our stairs.  She showed us many runners. She was professional and very pleasant to deal with.  We ordered the carpet runner and had to wait a few weeks for delivery.  Simon came with the carpet and removed our old carpet and padding.  He did an excellent installation of the new pad and runner. He was professional and friendly.  His helper, Albert, was also professional and did an excellent job cleaning the steps to prepare for the installation.  He then vacuumed the carpet after the installation was complete.  They took the old carpet with them.  We were very pleased with the great job, and our new carpet is beautiful.  We would definitely recommend Home Carpet One, and this great team, and we would definitely use them in the future.

Looking  for resilient flooring, we decided to look at vinyl plank.

Alone on the first visit to browse and spoke in depth with the salesman. He advised me that a sale "up to 40%" was coming up and I could save a bundle. After a guy came out to measure I returned with my husband to pick out product and get some samples. We asked about the installation charges at the time, but was given a vague answer which included what sounded like a lot of added materials (underlayments etc.) for installation over what is currently a plywood sub-floor. When I returned the samples asap as requested, I hoped to speak with the salesman to nail down installation costs. He was busy, so I left a note asking for a call or email as to what to expect when I had to return yet again on "sale day".

Opening the email attachment, I was FLOORED! (pun intended). The cost of the pre-sale plank was $793 which was fine. Once the labor/additional material etc was added it came to over $1600! May not sound like a lot, but were are talking a mere 126 SQUARE FEET!

I then received a call from a different salesman.  I explained my position and mentioned that we had been told by another installer that  it should cost $2-3 a square foot for installation. He replied that " yours is a small job and we have a minimum."

That would have been helpful to know in the beginning, or when we asked specifically about install costs!

Then I asked if the secret sale price would negate some of installation fees and was told I would only save $50-60!!

Wow, not exactly a bundle of money in my book.

All in all a giant waste of time.

At least I was able to pin them down before making yet another trip on  SALE DAY, to spend bundles of cash on a small mud room. LOL!

We are extremely pleased with the end results - the carpet looks fantastic and the crew that installed it was equally fantastic.  They were professional, friendly, and polite and they did a great job of cleaning up.  They also paid a lot of attention to details and we couldn't ask for a better installation - we were extremely impressed - all corners were tucked properly, seems aren't even noticeable, and the cuts around the edges were perfect.
The only complaint we had was with our salesperson.  She was easily confused, kept mixing up prices, forgetting line items.  We had to work through several invoices before we thought it was squared away and then she sent an additional invoice after the job was completed and we wrote what we thought was the final payment.  Having worked with Home Carpet One for years, we typically have good experiences, but you have to watch over every detail.  For a previous job, the salesman accidentally gave us two different colors of grout - they were very similar, but noticeably different once installed.  All he could do was apologize and say "It's your contractor's responsibility to make sure you got what you ordered."
Overall, polite and helpful staff with a nice variety of products at a fair price, but you need to make sure that you pay attention to details because their salespeople do not.

Very good experience.  The salesman could not have been more helpful.  The installation was perfect....installers were on time, very neat and did an overall great job.   They even called to thank me and sent a small gift when the order was complete. I will definitely use this company again.

Even though "CARPET" is in their tile, DO NOT overlook them for tile!   Unbelievable selection, great pricing.

We opted to go to HC1 for our flooring for a new home project.   We hooked up with one of their designers, Meaghan.   First, Meaghan is a great listener.  Asked a lot of questions, got an inventory of our likes and dislikes and our overall style.   The next meeting was actually looking at different options.  Meaghan was incredibly patient.   She made us feel comfortable and allowed us the proper amount of space to discuss and decide.   She also offered constructive design ideas along the way that helped us with the decision process.
The final product is beyond our expectations.
Thank you to Home Carpet One, their caring team and the warm and inviting culture that they have created.

We knew which brand and style of flooring we wanted. After looking online, and at two other local suppliers, we then checked out Home Carpet One.  They had a better selection and much better price - all on the same items. Bruce was very easy to work with, and they held the flooring for our contractor to pick up.

They took care of everything professionally. Their showroom was very nice. It was worth every penny not to have to deal with this myself.
