I’m prepping my condo to put on the market and my real estate agent referred Ismael to me, which was a huge win! The floors in my condo were very old and original since the building was converted into lofts. There was a lot of gapping between the planks and discoloration. He was extremely knowledge about what was needed and even assisted with which stain selection would work best given all the imperfections. Super personable and professional, and I can’t wait for our next adventure together. He’s amazing and does amazing work!

Ismael came and gave me a quote for my garden condo unit. We had a big plumbing issue and I was going to need new floors (which I was very much looking forward to getting since the ones in the unit were those ugly gray floors. He was very professional and gave me great advice about what would work with my special situation living in a basement unit. He helped me choose a really nice color and the best choice for the job. He explained how everything would be handled and I was looking forward to getting the work done. The plumbing issue was resolved without digging up my floors so I did not get my new floors. But Ismael was so wonderful in getting me my deposit back and his professionalism was unbeatable. Would recommend in a heartbeat! And, if I ever get the chance to replace the floors, I will be calling him first thing.

Ish and his boys were amazing. Ismael was very personable at the initial visit for the quote and throughout the process. I was very nervous as I was working on a big project alone and he kept me updated daily with pictures and videos. His team, which happen to be his sons as it's a family business, was very respectful and punctual! I was unable to get the work done all at once and they worked with me to get it done in 2 stages. My main concern was removing the squeaky noise from the old floors and they did a GREAT job in removing 99% of it ontop of giving me some BEAUTIFUL floors! There were a few issues with my HOA, but Ismael was GREAT with communicating with me making sure we resolved any issue. The only downside to working with Ismael is that he requires all the money upfront, however with the work they do and their professionalism, TOTALLY WORTH IT. Totally recommend!!

Ismael was prompt to give us a quote as we were ready for the project start for new hardwood installation on our top floor and basement stairs. He listened to our concerns and provided the best solution to match our needs - which included a noise dampening layer installed below the hardwood and moisture barrier and fixing an uneven spot in our sub-flloor. His team was punctual, friendly & respectful and cleaned up the work areas at the end of each day. Project was completed early with no added cost above quote. We are very much enjoying our new hardwood floor and stairs.

Ismael & his team were amazing. They are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and dependable. We bought a new house that had plasticy-looking grey bamboo floors, and we wanted to try and bring them back to a beautiful natural color. We got pretty nervous, because we realized after purchasing this may not even be possible. However, as soon as I reached out to Ismael, he instantly did the hard work of reaching out to the manufacturer to see what possibilities we had. When he came through for a quote, he was transparent about what could be done *safely* to the floors - along with what we could expect in a final product. Luckily, given his experience, they were able to take this floors and restore them to their natural glory! 100% would recommend to anyone.

The short story on Ishemel and why I chose him over his competitors is Trust, Communication, Quality, and Experience. I am wildly happy with the outcome and will have him back soon to work on another floor in my home. The longer story is below as I believe the devil is in the details, but not for everyone. Hence, the highlights above for the short attention spans (I am guilty as well). I purchased what is going to be our forever home and was so excited. There are always little tweaks you need to make when you move in and my new home wasn’t an exception. There are three floors with two floors that have hardwood and a third with super cheap vinyl floor. On the top floor our house had high end carpeting in the bedrooms with HUGE stains. Not only was it an eye sore, but my daughter has asthma, so they had to go or be replaced. I had Ishmel, two other hardwood flooring companies and a carpeting company out to my house for quotes. Ishmel was super cheerful from the moment I reached out to him and meeting him in person was no exception. He came into my house and told me not to touch my floors as they were beautifully done although honey oat and not my favorite. He mentioned the bottom floor had too many clear coats and adding another would make it look like plastic. He said he would give me a quote for the bedrooms, but he would be happy with the floors otherwise. This candor was appreciated and made me trust him because he had the experience of knowing not to add more clear coats which other companies quoted happily. Additionally, he was content to do the work, but told me it was unnecessary (TRUST). He also provided me with a quote to replace the vinyl in our basement. During the process of meeting him he told me he could do most any contracting work, but all he does is flooring for the past 34 years. He’s personally on the job with his crew and oversees everything to make sure it goes smoothly. I liked this approach because you don’t want to go to a doctor that sometimes does a procedure. You want to go to a doctor that does a procedure all day with an expertise and knowledge of understanding the intricacies of the little details that can pop up. I felt like Ishmel was the hardwood flooring specialist/doctor I needed for my home. I decided to move forward with hardwood flooring on the top floor of our home and stain it a medium brown with the intention of doing the bottom flooring later. The hiccup was we needed to move into the house in a week and a half. Ishmel said he could deliver in our timeframe, but we had to get moving. He and his crew were there and working as soon as I said yes. He detailed out how the project would unfold and where we would need decisions points to be made (color of flooring, etc.) to keep us on track (COMMUNICATION). He went out and bought a bunch of different stains after I didn’t like the first one I recommended. I was slammed at work and couldn’t make it to the house to review the stains so he stained boards and traveled to my old house and presented the boards to me so I could make a decision.

5 stars doesn't even do Ismael and his team justice-they not only do amazing, high quality work but they truly care about you and your home. Ismael actually refinished the floors in my condo ~10 years ago when I first moved in and recently after I had water damage the restoration company arranged their flooring subcontractor to fix my hardwoods. Unfortunately that subcontractor completely botched the job leaving my floors in even worse condition-needing a rescue I re-found Ismael and he completely saved me and my floors. He responded back to my initial reach-out in less than an hour (on a weekend!) and Monday morning he was there to provide an assessment, Wednesday morning they started work and by Thursday I had my beautiful floors back. He kept me updated throughout the process and genuinely took the time to ensure the work was done right and showed nothing but kindness and care for my home. A+++ ... the only flooring company I will ever choose and recommend to others.

After purchasing our home, my wife and I decided to have maple wood floors installed in the bedrooms to match the rest of the house. We received three bids in an effort to keep everyone honest. Ismael was referred to us by our neighbor. From the beginning of the process, he was my favorite. He has a great personality but more importantly, he was the most knowledgeable and based on his assessment, I was confident he would produce the best work product. He actually predicted how the bidding process would play out. "I come out and give the estimate and I install the floors. They have a guy who will come out and estimate and someone else to install the floors. There will be miscommunication and problems with that. With me, no problems." Ismael could not have been more accurate. It was really frustrating and time consuming dealing with the other vendors just to obtain their bids! We paid a little more to work with Ismael but it was money well spent. My rationale was the benefit of paying a skilled craftsman to do the work correctly outweighed my time having to correct potential mishaps. We had such a great experience. Ismael and his crew were punctual, on budget and finished exactly when they said they would. They also revealed amazing attention to details--they identified and corrected a creek in a section of the floor and a stain that could not be sanded so they replaced that section of the floor. The floors turned out beautiful and we could not be happier. Ismael and his crew are consummate professionals! The best!

Ismael and his sons did an AMAZING job with our project, which was refinishing some hardwood that is about 15-20 years old. We had a light oak color, but wanted to change the color to a dark coffee color and this company was very personable as well as detail oriented. They only do 5⭐️ work and take the extra time and effort needed to make sure that’s the case. My wife and I were both thrilled with the outcome of this project. It really can change the feel of the house and was well worth the money. Very pleased!
