"We had a floor leveling issue in which a room was part tile over cement and part carpet over hardwood, with the tiled part being higher than the carpeted part. We wanted to remove the tile, level the entire floor, and have hard wood flooring throughout the room. This was a challenge for the other contractors and flooring people who came out to give estimates. However, Mike of Mike’s flooring came out and immediately knew how to implement a plan of action. Mike’s team responded quickly and finished the job in a timely manner. They were pleasant and respectful, took care to limit the dust, and cleaned up after themselves. Mike also gave us great remodeling advice and provided us with great referrals for other trade experts. Most importantly, Mike charged a fair price, and he and his team did a WONDERFUL job. The new hard wood flooring looks GORGEOUS! Mike is a true expert in flooring, and I highly recommend him and his team."

"I am writing this review nearly a year after they did the work. Michael was very pleasant to work with. When we moved into our condo I was pregnant with our first baby. We have an open floor plan with a large carpet area and Michael worked with us on picking a carpet and padding that would be comfortable, resist stains, and be easy on the eyes. He said we would be spending a lot of time on the floor with our baby, boy was he right! now that she is crawling everywhere and we sit down so much on the floor to play with her we are SO glad that we got a high-quality carpet and padding. We have used Exposition Carpet for several carpet installations over many years in our finished basement, and have consistently found the best pricing, ease of schedule and quality installation thru them. I especially like that it's a family business and you are dealing directly with owners and not with a salesman that doesn't even know who his/her boss is. The installers have worked their for years and that says a lot.

After going through a back porch remodel enclosing to a mudroom, we wanted a pet friendly, water resistant and durable floor so we went with vinyl plank. The store had many options, and time frame to get material was within a week. We checked out a 'sale' prior at a trendy well known Lincoln Avenue store, only to be met with double the cost and attitude. So we ended up back at Exposition and it was a done deal within 2 weeks.

I thought I had reviewed them on AL, but realized I hadn't when the list asked if members had any feedback.
