Floors Very impressed with Ciprian hardwood flooring. I called to set up an appointment on a Sunday after hours assuming they would call back Monday morning, the owner contacted me the same day so that I could provide proper information so they could quote the job. He was able to schedule the work within one week with a very competitive quote. They came out on time and started their work promptly. He suggested repairs where we had damaged flooring. He also filled in some small holes at no cost, we were very appreciative. The floors were sanded and refinished. There was very minimal sanding dust and the floors look amazing. Ciprian Hardwood Flooring refinished all the flooring that included reclaimed white parquet oak and rooms of red oak wood. Ciprian and his team arrived on time every day, communicated via e-mail, text and talked to us using expert foreknowledge of the end results. For us, these are honest men that are artist. These guys are AWESOME! In our Goldcoast condo we had a water leak that got under the subfloor of our unit which ruined both the subfloor as well as the brand new flooring above it which was only a year old. There were some challenges in how the floor in our unit was done by our former contractor - as well as the fact that the flooring manufacturer has changed the design (not the color) of the flooring we originally had which led to challenges in how to get it the new section to match the old section. Ciprian and his guys solved this problem quite well - as well as a few other challenges that come with doing work in our building. They are clean, prompt and friendly. I highly recommend them. Craftsman and I would gladly hire them for another project.

Our hardwood floor was damaged by a water leak with some of the floorboards needing to be replaced. I wanted the floors to look uniform, not patchy. Ciprian flooring was professional, discussing options for the repairs prior to starting and during the process as unexpected damage was found. The quality of their work was phenomenal. Scheduling the work was easy. They came on time and worked within the time frame they had given me. The outcome was beautiful.

Ciprian was amazing! I had a tenant, when upon moving out, I found out that their cat had marked in the same place for the last year. The damage was extensive to the floor and second, sub-floor. I had quotes and description of work from five places. Ciprian and one other spoke appropriately about removing the damaged subfloor vs just refinishing the top floor. And, their communication was by far the best. In addition, all of the companies had 1.5-2 months wait list. Ciprian knew I had tenants moving in within a week. He had a cancelation and called me to do the work in the next two days before tenant moved in. They were Great! And floors look great! Thank you!

We came into the project not really knowing much at all about flooring, but through our initial conversation with Ciprian, he was able to figure out exactly what we wanted. We ended up sanding and refinishing the hardwood floors in our upstairs, adding shoe moulds where they were previously missing, and ripping up existing carpet and replacing with luxury vinyl plank flooring (with cork underneath) in our downstairs. They provided a detailed quote so that we knew exactly what kind of work was going to be done, and how much everything would cost. They were also very flexible, which was important since we ran into some hiccups on our end. Since so many people were renovating their homes during the pandemic, our order of vinyl flooring from Lowes got unexpectedly delayed last minute, which meant that we weren’t ready for Ciprian to do our flooring. Fortunately, Ciprian kept communicating with us and let us know their next available date. We were extremely thankful because in the end, they were still able to get all the work done before our move-in date! We appreciate their attention to detail and think our new floors make our home look much more modern and valuable. If you’re looking for professional, high quality work at an affordable price, go with Ciprian.

I called for an estimate and they insisted on giving the estimate over the phone rather than in-person. Since they had great reviews I shrugged it off and agreed to the estimate and told them that I would like to use them to do my floors. He initially agreed to do them on May28th. I agreed then got an email that he was booked for the next few months and not available. I told him that I would look elsewhere since I cannot risk hiring him and then have him cancel out again on an agreed date. I should have known that a contractor who would not come out to give an estimate is someone that you cannot count on to do the job. Beware!

We used Ciprian and the team for two projects: re-finishing our hardwood flooring and installing of vinyl plank flooring. As first time homeowners, we appreciated the thoroughness and competitive pricing of the quote, professionalism, quick communication and even providing recommendations/suggestions based on different options or choices that came up in the project. Not knowing too much about flooring, we felt very comfortable that Ciprian would help us make the right decisions for our home. They have finished the hardwood (which we love and are very excited about) and they will be coming back for the flooring installation later - due to a conflict on our end, we had to move the project back, but Ciprian was flexible in trying to fit us into an already packed schedule. We appreciate their help in trying to make everything as seamless as possible! Highly recommend for anyone looking for flooring work to be done.

In late August 2020, I contacted Ciprian and he got back to me for an estimate within 30 minutes. I sent photos of my living/dining room and hall and he provided an competitive estimate. I was amazed. I was looking to get it done during September. So I started moving everything out that I could during the last week of August, hoping maybe he could do it the week after Labor Day. I bought painting plastic drop cloths and covered my 2 bay windows and cornices and a pass thru to the kitchen. I removed all the floor registers. I covered the ceiling lights and stuffed rags in the floor vents. I couldn't carry out the couches and chairs or piano myself. Ciprian offered to do it for a fee, but I felt better using a professional mover. I was suprised to get a call on Sept. 1 that he could do the work on Sept. 4 and 5. I felt this prep work by me was all a good idea as it allowed Ciprian to concentrate on the sanding and refinishing, although he certainly would have done some of this, had I not. (I am programmer by trade and attention to detail is something I really obsess over, which is why I did alot of the prep work.) When Ciprian came he explained he needed to also do the front closet, else it would look bad, because the floor boards ran perpendicular to the closet doors (which I had removed). So I raced to empty the closet and he adjusted the plastic covering sheet accordingly. And for the same reason, he was able to just do a couple of boards into the bedrooms off the hallway, since the boards ran parallel to the doors. He arrived at 645 am both days. Day 1 was sanding and applying 2 coats of finish. I didn't stain the floor, left it natural light oak color as it was previously. He left by 3 pm on Day 1. He also redid 3 oak thresholds leading to my kitchen and bathroom and now the colors match the floors perfectly. Photos attached of the hall before the job, them working and final product in living room. Day 2 was buffing and applying coat 3. He was done in 90 minutes. That 3rd coat made the floor so smooth. There was very little dust to clean up in the rest of the house. Ciprian is extremely personable. His attention to details and quality was all I could ask for in a contractor. So often those finer points are overlooked in a job. As noted, I am really into details and he did not disappoint.

We recently had Ciprian refinish the floors on our first floor and install hardwoods in the hallway of our second floor. Ciprian was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He was able to tell us that we actually had two different types of wood in our house! He also fixed holes and cracks that came up as he was working and got our floors looking beautiful. This is a family run business with a father, son, and cousin and they finished the work quickly and efficiently. The price was reasonable and competitive based on the other estimates we received but we feel like the attention to detail put Ciprian over the top. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their floors done.

We had a large family room and a bedroom plus closet refinished. The results were wonderful. These folks have the old time work ethic.
