I needed a new faucet because that one was corroded. He also checked the toilet to see if the water flow was o.k. and it was. Next I went out to Home Depot and purchased another wide spread faucet. "Started with my bathroom toilet that would not drain.  I was unsuccessful so call experts,.  they ended up putting a scope and found that my iron pluming was flaking and needed jet blasting to restore to clean.  they asked about our main line.  We usually have trouble every year or so do to a large tree that has roots going into the main line.  They scoped the main line to the street and found a big root in our pipe that took up most of the pipe.  A couple of loads of wash and it would have backed up.  solution was to dig down 7 feet by our sidewalk were the root was and replace the pipe.  When they got down there the replaced the pipe and scoped to the street and found some more roots and it was clay back to out clean out  which was about 15 feet from the first hole.  They could sleeve to the street but we have a weak link in the clay to the clean out.  So we opted to do a non trench, replace the clay, sleeve the to the street and jet the house.
