Well, I am a retired Building Inspector and have used ANGIs contractors in the past with good results. I have installed several toilets (15+) on the; job, my home, a family vacation home, family/friends homes, etc. So I know what is involved in a c/out of toilets. The bottom line is the fee kept changing even after we had toilets at our house and after he did one. Thank God I paid him for just installing 1, he wanted $100 more to come back plus the last half of the original fee. He asked for the extra, the day after the first install to return the next time. I said NO and he left me no choice but to formally file a complaint.

"In my defense, I have been a plumber for many years, working in many places doing all types of plumbing jobs, therefore I know when someone is trying to take advantage of me, so the first time I spoke to Mr. Rob, I knew he wanted to lowball my work, he wanted to pay me half price for the work he wanted me to do. He wanted me to go to the store to purchase the toilet, a big box, a very heavy box, and deliver it to his house, remove the old toilet and put all the parts together for the new toilet and install it, all that for $100. He asked me to do another toilet so I said pay me what is fair but he lowballed my work again."
