"Very knowledgeable and professional. Did excellent work. The bid was a little higher but I could tell it would be done right and It was. The fence they replaced was my newest fence section and ii wanted it done correctly so we didnâ t have to repeat it again. They listened to what we wanted. We had cinder blocks at the bottom with wood fencing at the top. I recommend them."

"The fence is beautiful. The problem I had is that our neighbor didn't go in with half the cost. He had someone to do the job cheaper. I stayed with this company and the guy told me they could put it in front of the old fence. So they saved time and labor plus haul away expense and did not give me much of a discount. I am a senior and on a fixed income."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

For Orange, keep a post level, wire brush, rust converter, UV-resistant wood stain, and galvanized screws or fasteners ready for fence maintenance. Stock termite treatment products for spring, drainage gravel for winter, and pruning tools for fire safety in fall. Wind-resistant brackets and earthquake supports are also helpful. Having these supplies ensures you can quickly address routine fence repairs and protect your investment year-round.

Helpful?

In Orange, early signs that a fence repair may be needed include bubbling paint or rust streaks on metal fences, leaning or shifting posts after heavy winds, and wood panels with termite tunnels or sun-bleached cracks. Persistent moisture from sprinklers or irrigation can also cause rot. Addressing these issues promptly helps prevent more extensive fence damage and keeps your property secure.

Helpful?

In Orange, you can tackle minor fence maintenance by cleaning wood panels with gentle soap, applying UV-protective sealant during cooler months, and replacing cracked boards or tightening loose hardware. For metal fences, remove small rust patches and repaint as needed. Always check for underground utilities before digging and trim back dry brush to reduce fire risk. For leaning posts or severe storm damage, contact a local fence repair expert.

Helpful?

For Orange, create a seasonal fence maintenance checklist: In spring, inspect for termite activity and winter water damage; summer calls for checking sun-faded finishes and irrigation leaks; fall is ideal for clearing debris before Santa Ana winds and ensuring proper drainage; in winter, look for loose posts after storms and signs of pest entry. This routine supports long-term fence durability and minimizes unexpected repairs.

Helpful?

In Orange, review local fence height and setback rules, and consult HOA guidelines before starting. Test soil for clay content to determine post depth and drainage needs, especially after rainy seasons. Plan installations for milder weather to avoid heat-related delays. Discuss shared boundaries with neighbors early, and schedule fence contractors ahead of peak seasons. These steps streamline fence installation and help avoid common project setbacks.
